This beautiful, modern vacation rental cabin with amenities like a hot tub offers the perfect location for winter and summer as it is a short walk to the Sandy River trails and a 15-20 minute drive to the ski resorts of Mt Hood.
The home is set on a double lot which gives you plenty of space and privacy without being too far from the conveniences of the shops and restaurants in Rhododendron and Welches.
As you enter the home you are greeted with an inviting living room with beautiful hardwood floors and a gas stove that keeps you nice and toasty! There is a sofa that converts to a full sized bed so it is a great sleeping option for a couple or for kids.
The kitchen is thoughtfully finished with granite counter tops and a slate tile floor. It is fully stocked and offers a couple of nice extras including an espresso machine and an electric griddle. The dining table between the kitchen and the living room seats 4 and expands to 6 so it is easily adaptable to suit your needs.
The master loft features a sitting area with a picture window looking out into the cedars and vine maples. If you open the window, you hear the nearby ZigZag River. The knotty pine ceilings, recessed lighting and ceiling fans make it a comfortable setting for rest and relaxation. The queen pillow-top bed has a down comforter, and the sofa/lounger folds down into a full size bed. There is also a Flat screen TV and a DVD player that is great for winding down after the day's adventures on the mountain.
The second bedroom is downstairs and features a queen pillow top bed with a down comforter. The full bathroom is also downstairs.
This unique vacation rental offers loads of amenities to make it the perfect home away from home including a wireless internet connection, a large deck off the back of the house, a brand new hot tub and a fire pit in the backyard.

Recently remodeled kitchen and loft were nice and in good taste. Owners were very pleasant to work with. Surroundings are peaceful and serene.
Short drive to Government Camp. Also enjoyed a trip to Trillium Lake.
It was so cute. We especially liked the hot tub and the gas fireplace. The cabin was very clean and well-insulated. We started with 3 adults, then two more came for one night. The cabin easily fit 5 adults. We recommend checking in first before going out to buy groceries because there are quite a few things (salt, sugar, creamer, etc.) in the cupboards. Lots of clean towels for everyone. We started with 3 adults, then two more came for one night. The cabin easily fit 5 adults.
It rained the majority of the weekend of our stay, but with the hot tub outside we loved it. Store & restaurants nearby and the neighbors seemed nice. Great vacation away from the city!
While not luxurious, perfectly adequate and appointed with everything you need to get away from it all while still remaining connected.
Very cute and small cabin in a not so cute area pretty directly off of hwy 26. Very convenient, but like other reviews said, not secluded. The cabin was well kept and quaint. Very clean and tidy. The hot tub was very nice. The hot water heater didn't work at first but someone came out and fixed it while we were out. The cookware was pretty awful, mostly tephlon pans that were badly scratched and unusable. Overall though, it was a nice place. I'd recommend it to some one looking for economic accommodations.
This cabin was amazing! Everything you need is provided (except coffee... bring your own coffee). Grocery store is only about 2 miles down the road. Hot tub worked great. Only somewhat negative thing I can say is some of the surrounding properties are a little run down. It's a well lived-in community and you are the random tourists. Anyways, other than that it was an amazing stay and everything about the inside of the cabin was wonderful! They even have food dishes for your the furry members of your family!
