Only 6 miles from downtown Grayling, you'll enjoy the quiet and seclusion of our cabin nestled under majestic white pine 100' from the river. The kids can drop a line from the bridge. Enjoy tubing right from the cabin. Listen to birdsong as you relax in the hammock or enjoy roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit. Fish the nearby 'Holy Waters' of the AuSable and grill your catch on the expansive deck overlooking the river. Take a walk thru Hartwick Pines State Park (5 minutes) or take in a movie at the historic Rialto Theater.

30 minutes from Treetops Resort in Gaylord and Garland Resort in Lewiston.

15 minutes from Lake Margrethe....a beautiful spring fed sandy bottom swimming and boating lake.

For winter skiing you are 30 minutes from Treetops in Gaylord, 60 minutes from Boyne Mountain and 60 minutes from Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire.

The kitchen is equipped to serve a crowd.

This place really exceeded my expectations. Very clean, rustic ambiance with everything on hand for a comfortable stay. Had a group of around 10 guys come up for a fishing weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. Very close to lots do good fishing and golf courses.

Better than Advertised

Our group of friends has been canoeing up in Grayling for the past 10 years, this year we decided to rent this cottage and we could not have been any happier. The cottage was better than advertised and was able accommodate all 12-14 of us for the weekend. the cottage is very quite and secluded with many amenities and also very close to everything. We will be coming back for years to come, Thank You again for letting us use your little piece of Heaven even if it was only for a weekend and now that we know what your cottage has to offer and the surrounding area I am sure next year will even be better.

Great get-together spot

Me and eleven other guys spent a couple nights at this fantastic cabin. Very large, open living/dining/kitchen area was great for accommodating all of us, as was the big, secluded backyard. Quick drive downtown for supplies and canoeing made this an ideal destination for a weekend getaway with a big group. Owner was easy to work with and responsive to all of our needs.

Canoe Extravaganza

We stayed for the weekend as a family reunion. We had 20 people staying at the cabin and bunkhouse. It was AWESOME. The kids canoed on the river and caught fish off the little bridge. We pitched two tents for the kids between the bunkhouse and the main house and had so much fun. The was plenty of room for the kids to run and play. They really loved the little tree house complete with table and chairs. This was a great get away. We had family from Royal Oak MI, Colorado, and Kentucky. Everyone had an awesome time. The two dogs that came with family also enjoyed being able to run in the wide open spaces and play with the kids in the river. We had a wonderfunl reunion.

Our extended family of six met here in Grayling for a weekend of birding to see the Kirtland's Warblers and Evening Grosbeaks at Hartwick Pines. My goodness, this cabin was a little bit of heaven. The living room/dining/kitchen area is huge and so open. We mostly enjoyed sitting out on the dock and back yard to enjoy nature's beauty. The fire pit on Saturday night was a lot of fun listening to Common Nighthawks and Whip-poor-wills. I highly recommend this cabin. Spacious, clean, and a real joy!
