Pocono Perefect Getaway
The owners are amazing people. I can't stress that enough. My wife and I went for our honeymoon, and 3/4 of the way there our vehicle caught fire, the owners PICKED US UP so we could rest for the night and take care of the rest in the morning. The house was clean, pool table is well kept, every kitchen utensil you might need is available, hot tubs hot, cold waters cold. Their attention to detail is fantastic. They even got us a bottle of wine to congratulate us on our marriage!
The grill looks to be 10-12 years old, but they have kept up with the maintenance of the unit, no rust, spotless inside, even the ignitor has been replaced a few times, but it works. Those NEVER work on older units. The people who own this house truly want you to enjoy your stay, and it shows.
Bedrooms are smaller than I expected, but large enough that we shared a single room with clothes, shoes and all our amenities for a week with no proiblem. The front porch swing became my haven in this quiet little neighborhood, and although we didn't use the boats, honeymoon remember, they did look to be in excellent condition, and very well maintained.
My new wife and I have already decided to return next year for another honeymoon, This time we'll rent a car.
This house is a little ways from everything, but a half hour drive will get you anywhere. There is a multitude of things to do and see in the area, we ran out of time ourselves. And the bakery in town is killer, from breakfast muffins to pizza, they do it... well.
If you are thinking about staying here, do it!
