Located in the Blanco Basin, a high mountain valley, amongst the National Forest, our home is about 19 miles south of Pagosa Springs. The home is private and peaceful with beautiful continental divide mountain views. The Blanco River is only a couple hundred feet away.

    CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations must be cancelled in writing 30 days prior to arrival or deposit will be forfeited. Under special circumstances, a portion of the deposit may be credited to a future stay.

    CLEANING FEES: There is a cleaning fee due for the cleaning of the home after you leave. This fee is $65 and will be added on ALL rentals.

    DAMAGE DEPOSIT: You will furnish a valid driver's license and credit card at the time of your reservation. This credit card will be charged in case of any damage done during your stay.

    YOUR RATE INCLUDES: Accommodations at our vacation home. NO OTHER SERVICES ARE PROVIDED! We will provide soaps, salt, pepper, dishes, utensils, soaps, linens, towels, trash bags, etc. You will provide your own food. We ask that any

Horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, skiing at Wolf Creek, cross-country skiing, kayaking/rafting, hunting/fishing, 4 wheeling exploring old mining towns are just a few of the local activities. Save time for a soak in the hot springs. The natural hot springs are reputed to be the hottest and deepest in the world. These springs were discovered by the Ute Indians and are famous for their healing qualities. BR B Area: /B BR Pagosa country has something for everyone. Want to see how the Old West was shaped? Pagosa has it. Want to get away from the madding crowd and try your hand at fly fishing? Pagosa has it. Want to ski mountains only reachable by helicopter? Pagosa country has it.

The hardest part about a vacation in Pagosa country is knowing where to begin! A day's itinerary can include such activities as skiing, snowboarding, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, camping, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, mining tours, golfing, and rock climbing. You need to venture no further than the San Juan National Forest. It covers an area from east to west of more than 120 miles and from north to south of more than 60 miles, encompassing an area of over 1.8 million acres. The forest is filled with rivers, lakes, extreme peaks, mountain rock formations, and immense canyons that will excite all those that appreciate the great outdoors. Fishing, kayaking, hiking, spelunking, rock climbing, mountain biking, sailing, and even artifact hunting are just some of the activities to immerse yourself in while visiting the park.

The Perfect Log Cabin Getaway!

The cabin is spacious, clean and well-maintained, with amazing views. It's sufficiently off the beaten track to feel secluded and close to nature - we saw elk and wild turkeys, and the lack of light pollution means the stars are incredible.
We skied at Wolf Creek (always great snow),went snowmobiling (a lot of fun), enjoyed the hot springs in Pagosa and had a lovely long walk in the snow near the cabin. We also enjoyed sledding down the driveway!

This is my second trip to Pagosa - its fantastic. We took the kids to the rodeo, which is every Thursday night in the summer, hiked a bunch of different waterfalls and relaxed on the deck at the house listening to the river. The house and the setting are spectacular - really special, quiet and georgous ! Can't wait to try the skiing at Wolf Creek.
