Osprey Condo Rental Photos and Description
Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)
Be among the first to enjoy this newly renovated (in 2010) 'West of the Trail' condo! The new natural maple cabinets and quartz counters maintain the light and open feel that is a highlight of this unique home, designed for sub-tropical living by Frank Folsom Smith of the Sarasota School of Architecture. New wood floors, fresh paint, renovated bathrooms, and new furnishings - from pots and pans to 40' HD TV - are waiting for you. The dramatic design includes 18' cathedral ceilings in each room, a central open-air atrium, and sliding glass doors that open onto decks from the living room, kitchen, and each bedroom. Two swimming pools, tennis courts, and an exercise facility are available within the complex.
Walk to exclusive Casey Key to enjoy the ocean views or drive minutes to quiet Nokomis Beach or world-famous Siesta Key Beach. Restaurants, shopping, hiking, and golf are all available nearby. Sarasota, known for its museums, symphony, opera, and the white sands of Siesta Key beach, is a few miles to the north, while Venice, with its quaint shops and miles of unspoiled beaches, is to the south.

About The Owner
We are native New Englanders who are growing tired of fighting the winter snow and ice! We hope someday to be able to join the ranks of the snowbirds who trade winter weather for Florida sunshine. For the time being, we're sharing our tropical getaway with you.

Why The Owner chose Osprey
We fell in love with with the natural beauty and glorious weather of the Sarasota area after a few short vacation visits. Osprey felt like the perfect location for us, because of its convenient access to both the cultural events of Sarasota and the quiet, natural beauty of Venice. Pine Run is a gem, with its tropical garden setting and its proximity to the Gulf.
What makes this condo unique
This condo is filled with sunshine that streams through its large windows and sliding glass doors. At the same time, the design and surrounding foliage provide complete privacy for the kitchen and living room, as well as the rear deck and central atrium. We love to cross over the intracoastal waterway and bay to Casey Key to enjoy the waterfront restaurants or to stroll (or run) along N. Casey Key Road, which winds among beautiful homes and gives expansive views of the Gulf. Just about anything else you could want is a short drive away.
