Loved this wonderful home!
Our family of four stayed for two weeks in this wonderful, welcoming home. We even had room to have family come visit for part of our stay. One of the best parts of the visit was the charming Julio, the father of Bernardo. He is a real gentleman, so friendly and kind. When he saw us waiting for a bus, he would stop, turn around and come back for us. He gave us great ideas and was fun to talk to.
The house is on a hill overlooking the ocean and back patio has a great beach view and is a great place to relax. The beach is a walk down the hill, but is beautiful and quiet.
The house was exactly what we were looking for, away from town, a great place to cook and talk together after days at the beach and at Spanish school.
The house is out of town, but it is an easy bus ride into Montanita. The buses come by every 10 to 15 minutes and cost about 40 cents. It was easy to manage without a car. We took Spanish classes at the Mara Azul school which we loved. It was small and friendly.
For shopping, it is worth it to take a trip to Pro Pueblo which has lots of great handmade Tagua.
Also, Bernardo was very quick with email response.
A great place to relax.
