Welcome to Casa Rio Vista Hill Country Ranch! Here is your chance to vacation in our truly spectacular Hill Country vacation property, located on a stunning 11 acre mini-ranch, overlooking the Pedernales River and its Canyon. This property is so unique with it's quiet and beautiful country location, the moment you drive up, you feel relaxed and totally at peace.
Casa Rio Vista is a First Class Home on this mini ranch and is conveniently located off Hwy 71 between just 15 minutes from Hi way 620 and the Hill Country Galleria Mall area and 40 minutes from the Austin airport. Yet we are nestled peacefully in a private community of estate and ranch homes surrounded by mother nature at its best. Casa Rio Vista has a distinct advantage over other homes, by it's incredible view of the Pedernales River with the Texas Hill Country all around you. Casa Rio Vista now offers a total of 6 bedrooms with 3 bedrooms in the main house with a huge Master Bedroom with King Bed, private bath, shower, and large Jacuzzi size tub. Our beautiful 2nd bedroom with Queen size bed, shares a full bath, shower and tub with the 3rd bedroom which offers twin sleigh beds and gaming systems for kids on a Flat Screen TV. To top it off all of the bedrooms have Plasma TV's, and DVD players! The home has a very large living and dining room area with rock fireplace that opens to a large covered patio area and overlooks the swimming pool/spa area.
I just love the back patio area as its the best place to sit and relax while watching the many deer and other wild life that pass by. The home also has a first class kitchen with granite counter tops, Jenn air stove, convection oven and microwave plus all of the other small appliances that you would need to make a simple or even gourmet meal! We also have available (extra deposit required) if you wish a large media room complete with a 55 inch plasma TV, stereo / video game systems and a 2nd stone fireplace. And for larger groups the home also has TWO separate guests houses one of which is a large guest house with 2 nice size bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other bedroom with two twin beds a nice size kithcen and dining area and 2 living room area's with TV's and stereo systems. A smaller but very nice 6th bedroom for the property is in the 2nd guest house which has a queen size bed and LCD TV and all of the beds in the main house and both guest homes have pillow top mattress which makes sleeping sooooo nice!
The house was professionally decorated and furnished in a manner you would expect from a first class home. The entire home is done in a combination of tile and berber carpeting with lots of windows which gives you a very open feeling or you can close it off. The main house has a large family room of all glass doors across the back, an elevated dining area, that seats 8 to 10, a separate bar area with ice maker and a beautiful new kitchen with dining area in the kitchen that seats eight. Located out the glass doors in the living / family room is a beautiful patio area with plenty of table and chair and perfect for dining or relaxing. Off the kitchen is the laundry room that is yours to use at no extra charge. The house has new water purification system and other amenities include its own private lighted tennis court...I mean what other home do you find with a private tennis court! PLUS...a private play area for the kids and its own private boat dock with lift (river/lake water level does vary at times,very low as of July 2012) with steps going down to the waterfront through a park like setting. This Estate Home is located in a very quite and natural setting and is the best spot for riding bikes, walking, bird watching and seeing lots of other wild-life in its natural setting. What else would you need to make this the best vacation EVER!
For larger groups we also can offer you a second riverfront and first class home just next door Villa Rio Lado with another 4 bedrooms that sleeps up to 12 which makes the entire property perfect for family retreats, church retreats, tennis retreats with the gals, guys or couples and Casa Rio Vista Hill Country Ranch makes a prefect spot for large family gatherings. So between the two homes Casa Rio Vista and Villa Rio Lado you can sleep up to apx 28 people on the two properties!
OCCUPANCY POLICY. Because of the quality of our home we can not rent for parties or to minors. We work very hard to maintain a quiet family atmosphere for the enjoyment of our guests and neighbors. Any use of the home for purposes other than family vacations must be addressed at the time of the reservation. This website indicates the maximum number of guests allowed in our home. If this number is exceeded you may be asked to leave without a refund.
One final thing. We have taken a lot of pride, effort and money to furnish these homes in a top notch, first class manner that you don't find in most rental homes. We offer Casa Rio Vista to guests who like and appreciate nice things as we do...and more important, we only will to rent this home to people who know how and will take care of nice things and will respect the property. NOTICE: Most of Texas and the Hill Country are experiencing a once in 100 year drought. Sooner or later it will be back to normal but until we get some heavy rain water level's in the river behind the house is not enough for boating. Even though the area rivers and lakes are low, their are many other reason's you will love this home and property! You can however launch a boat just 15 min away at Pace Bend Park and thier is plenty of water in Lake Travis for lots of fun.
