This 10th floor condo (MA1008) is an exceptional unit that has been magnificently upgraded into a designer interior, featuring beautiful shades of granite, handsome and unique pieces of furniture including Hawaiian and exotic oriental treasures and beautiful bamboo flooring. It is a true gem located in the famous AAA Three Diamond Mahana resort, that is situated on the white sandy Kaanapali beaches, less than 75' away from the beach. It offers unsurpassed panoramic vistas of the beautiful blue ocean with the islands of Lanai to the left and Molokai to the right, with the stunning sunsets in the middle of your view every night, with the lulling sounds of the waves hitting the reef. It is an ideal condo for that special occasion with your loved one. And - NO RESORT FEE CHARGED!

During whale season, the whales are directly in front of your condo for a close up and personal view from your floor to ceiling windows! We provide binoculars in our condos but from this height you really don't need them! The waters are crystal clear and sea turtles, schools of fish, spinner dolphins, etc., are plainly seen.

This condo features large flat screen TVs, beautiful art pieces, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen done in lovely shades of granite, with all stainless steel appliances; a spacious and comfortable living room, a large dressing area with separate 'his' and 'hers' vanities and sinks all done in beautiful granite as is the walk-in shower. A sturdy built-in dresser in the spacious master bedroom with a luxuriously comfortable BRAND NEW (11/15/12) MATTRESS on the California King bed. Front entry way is double glass doors, combining modern and chic ambiance with double duty as a wind door. Very stunning! Checking in is simple, you bypass the front desk and check in at the kiosk, which prints your parking pass and that's it. You never have to go to the front desk for anything - (except to get a code to gate access to Duke's across parking lot). Otherwise Mahana front desk has nothing to do with owner-managed condos; that's when you contact us or our property managers. We also own MA118 and MA1104 at the Mahana - can you tell we love the Mahana?!!! {: D We've got boogie boards, beach chairs and even a printer for your use while there as well! Please return them for the next guests.

The Mahana has a tennis court; great remodeled swimming pool area with hot tub and dressing area/restrooms poolside, new bbq grills, and the newly opened and famous Duke's restaurant is just a short stroll away on the brand new boardwalk. You can walk to the Honokowa Farmer's Market for fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, flowers, etc., which is just minutes away. World Class golf courses are just minutes away, as is shopping and restaurants.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2010

The best condo location we've seen! Within walking distance to groceries, take-out, beach restaurants, dvd rentals and dive shop. Within driving distance to Lahaina, shopping, championship golf, sightseeing and the boardwalk is perfect for jogging or walking as it starts at the Mahana and continues past Black Rock, Whaler's Village and on.

The panaramic views are out of this world; standing on your private lanai, you will be looking into the west where you'll see the setting sun each evening and looking to the left is the island of Lanai and to the right is the island of Molokai with the wide channel in between where you will see resident sea turtles every day; the occasional sting ray, schools of spinner dolphins and of course our favorite - the humpback whales from Sept to May. Our condos are all remodeled and equipped with everything you could want. We arrive twice a year, take inventory and restock items that we think our guests would enjoy, including toiletries & medicinal items, spices and various non perishable shelf items, cleaning supplies, batteries, paper, ink, printers, scissors, tape, lighters for candles, beach items and bar spirits (when we see the stock is low), including soft drinks. We make sure the kitchen is adequately stocked; that there are containers for leftovers, food wrappers, baggies, cooking utensils in decent shape and all kinds of extras that we think could be used in the condo, including hair dryers, makeup mirrors, candles, calendars, games, guide books, etc. We would like to thank all of our guest who do 'pay it forward' as we requested for the in between times that we are not there; our other guests really appreciate it!

This was our third stay at one of the owners Mahana condos and again we had a fabulous experience. The condos feel like home.... Great bed, great shower, all we needed to cook paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy breakfast) and eat on the lanai watching whales and turtles swim by. Very well equipped and so glad we have booked again for next year!! Mahalo Russ and Carrie!

As seasoned travelers and visitors to Maui, let me say that the Mahana, specifically this unit, has no equals (unless you're renting other condos from the same owners). Carrie and Russ have cornered the market on luxury condos at the Mahana. Not all of the condos there are created equal as they are individually owned and thus reflect the elegance (or lack thereof) of their owners. By the time you have begun researching the Mahana you will have already determined that it is the closest condo complex to the water (30 ft) the closest to a supermarket, drug store, fresh fish outlet, restaurants, etc. Let's set aside geographics and move to topics such as the luxury, convenience, exquisite decoration and impeccable customer service that sets their condos apart from all of the rest. I write this review only after carefully reserving my favorite weeks in advance through 2016. Upon arrival you will find this condo is "picture perfect." As you research your perfect accommodation let's talk briefly about the geographic location of condos within the Mahana. First, know that there are no bad condos as they all face the ocean. You have the choice of two towers each with 12 floors.
There is no restaurant or bar on the premises. You will soon appreciate that! Duke's Restaurant is a very short walk. Breakfast, fast food, Times Supermarket, drugstore, pizza, Subway, etc., are all a short walk.
The furnishings in this condo are top grade luxury simply unequaled in any other condos (not owned by these owners) we have viewed at the Mahana. This condo and all of the condos owned by Russ and Carrie have fully loaded kitchens with granite counters, refrigerator/freezers, dishwashers, washer/dryers, mirrored walls and virtually every kitchen appliance, gadget, whisk, bowl, cutlery, coffee maker, pots and pans, etc that you can imagine. There is an unbelievable collection of spices, oils, etc; if you are a cook, you will need virtually nothing else. Flat screen tvs, luxurious Cal. King beds, large walk in showers, etc. Perhaps most important is the customer service attitude of the owners, Russ and Carrie. They do an unbelievable job of caring about their guests and responding to their needs as if they were at the front desk of a hotel when in fact they are far away but always available by email, even if they are traveling. We have ceased looking at any other condos at the Mahana. Their condos are booked out years in advance for a reason!

Wonderful condo. Saw many whales and turtles. Tastefully decorated. Many supplies included. One of the nicest condos we've stayed in. So close to the ocean. Pay it forward concept for supplies is really nice. Wish hot tub was open a little later. Dicks restuarant a great little spot for lunch and happy hour. Short walk to Dicks. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Makes me sad we had to leave. You will not be disappointed.
