Welcome to our quiet home located in the small community of Meyers, just outside of the exciting city of South Lake Tahoe. It is a peaceful wooded area perfect for resting after a long day of snowboarding, shopping, biking or sightseeing.

Located within 13 miles of two popular ski resorts, Sierra-At-Tahoe and Heavenly. Kirkwood is 24 1/2 miles away. The casinos at Stateline are just 12 miles. Hop on the Tahoe Queen, just 11 miles away.

We have tried to create a relaxing family home for you to enjoy while vacationing in this beautiful area of Lake Tahoe. You will find all of the amenities that you will need during your stay, comfortable furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer and a two car garage. A warm woodstove in the winter, and a deck to enjoy the warm sunshine and a BBQ in the summer.

Vacations are a special time for making memories so we want to make sure your experience is so special that you will look forward to returning year after year just like we have!

About The Owner

We are Rod and Teri Brunner from Crescent City, CA. We have been vacationing at Lake Tahoe for many years. We have four grown children, three of them are married. We have four grandsons, and two granddaughters. Our plan is to retire to Lake Tahoe in five more years, living closer to our children and grandchildren, and enjoying the many fun things to do in this amazing area of Lake Tahoe!

Why The Owner chose Christmas Valley

We chose to purchase our home in Christmas Valley to be in the peaceful woods just outside of the city of Lake Tahoe while still being close to skiing, shopping, the lake and a golf course.

What makes this house unique

The Upper Truckee river is just a stones throw away and there are walking trails nearby also. Just across the highway is a popular rock climbing area and a golf course is just 5 minutes away. The view of the mountains are amazing!

Perfect House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient for our "snow" bunch. Easy drive to Sierra at Tahoe and conveniently located near local ski rental shop and restaurants/grocery store. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room for the eight of us. Very clean and well-maintained! The owner is very helpful with any and all questions. We will be staying here again!!

The house is well-equipped and is a great value at the price. No negatives to speak of. By far the best aspect was the interaction with the owners. They were extremely responsive, courteous, and willing to consider special requests. I would certainly stay here again.
