Private hot tub. Activities: Bodega Bay was made famous by the Alfred Hitchcock movie 'The Birds.' It has remained a small quaint fishing village.

Embrace the solitude and spend a lazy day wrapped up enjoying the bay, the sunsets, the calming foghorn, and the wildlife. Great location, but lacked some amenities

It was wonderful to be so close to the bay. However we were a little disappointed with the condition of the cottage which didn't appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, maintained or restocked in a while. There was dust and cob webs everywhere. The cable didn't work the entire weekend, so we had no TV. We were told by the caretaker that it had been out for a while. 2 of the 3 heaters weren't working and boy did it get chilly in the evenings and early morning. There was only one extra blanket. We were 4 so that didn't help much! Several of the light fixtures were missing light bulbs. We also had to make a run to the grocery store to pick up those staples which are generally provided with a vacation rental: toilet paper, napkins, garbage bags, kitchen sponge etc.
