The two lane 'Ocean Trail Road' curves up the middle of the narrow island, with the Ocean on one side and the huge Sound on the other. This is the best of the Outer Banks, the Currituck Light House is in the distance and the (4 wheel drive) beach with the Spanish Wild Horses is just ahead. Magical, rare, one of the best kept secrets on the entire Eastern Coast. There is still tons of restaurants, shops, and kids activities, and every water activity you can imagine, just all tastefully done.
Amenities:The best of everything! A Private pool, hot tub, 2 Decks. Our home sits on a bluff with panoramic Ocean Views over the rooftops. You can take the Club's private trolley to the beach during the season, which stops by every 20 minutes in front of the house (the kids love this). Or toss your things in the car for a 4 or 5 minute drive to the beach thru the private Club viewing million dollar homes.
There is a great living room, dining room, master bedroom with king bed, master bath with deep soaking tub and Italian tile, 2nd master bedroom with king bed which also has access to deck and attached bath, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, Queen sleeper in living room, garage, gas grill, linens provided, laundry and fireplace(seasonal). all professionally decorated. Of course DVD, VCR, & Stereo Available, we also have a TV in each bedroom for your comfort and video library. This 4 year old home has a lovely kitchen with a granite island and an ocean view balcony for dining al fresco. High Speed wireless Internet connection for your lap top. Also at the Currituck Club there is a nice work out area, pool table, ping pong, play station, Foosball, children's play area, boccie ball, and more. Along with our private pool there is a really gorgeous community pool a few door away.
Activities: Quaint coastal villages to discover, lighthouses, tons of cool shopping, wonderful dining, every water sport imaginable, exclusive golf and tennis resort, very special 4 wheel drive beach area with wild/ horses (you can also do tours if you don't have a SUV with you!)
