Treasure Island - Quiet Paradise:
Our spacious house is a refreshing change from condo or hotel offerings. It's the perfect place to kick back and relax in a private, luxurious home. But when you want to all get together, the open concept living and dining area is a great place to gather and share your day.
Of course, the main attraction here, beyond the spacious comfort of the house, is the beautiful white sand beach. Treasure Island has miles of beautiful white sand beaches, perfect for a stroll. The beach has been named a Blue Ocean Beach, signifying that it is ecologically sound, and safe for swimming. Surf fishing is very popular here, and the Great Blue Herons will be happy to guard your bait bucket for you. There is an abundance of wild life to enjoy, from the many kinds of seabirds to dolphins that play just off the shore. It's hard to describe the peaceful feeling of sitting at the ocean's edge, watching the sun set while the waves lap at your feet.

It's all about the beach, as we said before, but in case you need more reasons to come here...
A very short walk across the John's Pass Bridge will put you in one of the most popular eating and shopping spots on the beach. At 'World Famous John's Pass' you can charter a dolphin tour, deep sea fishing excursion or catch a casino boat cruise. Parasailing, a Pirate cruise ship and jet-ski rentals are also available there.
Tampa Bay’s major sporting venues for baseball, football and hockey are all close by. Several Major League Baseball teams hold spring training here. Tennis and golf are also available. Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and the Ringling Museum are all about 90 minutes away.
Golf:
Many close-by restaurants and bars offer Live Music, from Dixieland Jazz to Reggae to Classic Rock, so it's easy to find something you like.
Busch Gardens, the Lowry Park Zoo, Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, the Dali Museum, Sunken Gardens and Tampa Bay’s major sporting venues for baseball, football and hockey are all close by. Area: Our house is on the narrow north end of Treasure Island, so we see both the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterways from the decks and windows. The beautiful white sand beach is 150 yards from the front door. It is a short walk to shopping and dining. John's Pass is a 5 minute walk away.
Treasure Island is a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico near Tampa. It is often called part of St. Petersburg. There are airports in Tampa and St. Petersburg, both of which are about 30 minutes from the house.
