Cozy Island Beachfront Cottage!

Come enjoy the beauty of Midcoast Maine from an island perspective! This cozy cottage offers a perfect getaway for the weekend or the summer months! Located 1.5 hours from Portland (and 3.5 hours from Boston), this house sits in the center of a lovely cove. The island (Spruce Head) is connected to the mainland by bridge.

Beachfront means just that: you're right on the water with a beach that is perfect for kids and families with an exploring nature, has quick put-in access for kayaks or canoes, or just relaxing in the comfort of the pristine views!

The cottage is a unique and comfortable location. Two of the beds are located in easily accessible lofts in the main living room area, with an additional small bedroom downstairs. The house has kerosene heaters in addition to a powerful little wood stove. Wood and kindling is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped for your all of your culinary adventures, including lobster cookware.

While the property offers a secluded getaway, you're also quite close to a variety of wonderful midcoast towns, including Thomaston (10 minutes), Rockland (15 minutes) and Camden (40 minutes). Golf, casual and fine dining, boat tours, hiking, cycling, local art, movie theaters, and much more are all just minutes away!

This property is the perfect place for a quiet getaway for the whole family!

This is the property I grew up going to in the summertime. I inherited it two years ago.

What makes this cottage unique

The location is breathtaking. Island views from an island. Getting into town is also a simple 15 minute drive.
