Less than half an hour from all other attractions listed on this site. Activities includes shelling, swimming, tennis, golf, theater, movies, shopping, fishing, all water sports, hiking, biking, birdwatching, segway riding, etc. Within the complex there are tennis courts and kayaks for your use on the bayou.

There are no exceptions to the non-smoking and no pets rules as they are the rules of the condo association. There is a rental service on the island that will deliver cots, cribs, highchairs, etc. to the condo and pick up from the condo. There is a six mile bike path at entrance to the condos. Billy's Rentals will drop off bikes of all types, helmets and locks before your arrival and pick them up whenever you like. Jerry's grocery store will take your grocery order and stock the kitchen before your arrival. Final cleaning is included in rental fee.

Amenities: The footbridge to the beach traverses a lagoon which you can explore in canoes or kayaks free for your use. The complex itself has a large heated pool, tennis courts, clubhouse with high speed Internet access (wireless at the pool). The condo itself is cheery, comfortable and spacious at over 1400 sq. ft. of living space. The fully equipped kitchen has a coffeemaker, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and stove. There is task lighting to make food preparation a joy. There is also a washer and dryer in the condo. The living room is spacious and has a large TV with VCR, DVD, stereo and CD player. Each bedroom also has a TV,VCR and DVD player. There is central air-conditioning and there are ceiling fans throughout. Also there is a PC with high speed Internet access in the condo. There are beach chairs, beach towels, beach mats, sand toys and beach umbrella; as well as tennis equipment, a paddle ball set and a small carry bag of golf clubs
