'Sand Dollar' was brand new in 2004! This classic, upscale beach house has the perfect floor plan for several couples or multiple families. The elegant decor includes beautiful Brazilian cherry floors, brushed nickel fixtures and Pottery Barn furnishings. Any chef will be delighted to step inside the spacious, fully equipped, gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Sand Dollar is located in the much desired location of Crystal Beach. It is surrounded on three sides by wooded lots, providing a very private setting for swimming and outdoor dining. This home is not a 'typical' vacation rental and is kept in like new condition. It is intended for groups seeking higher level accomodations and who will appreciate the attention to detail. The outside of this home is as elegantly equipped with an outdoor rainfall shower, Jenn Air stainless gas grill (propane tanks provided), mahogany glider benches, and wooden rocking chairs. Whether you’re looking to relax on the hammock overlooking the private pool or take a bike ride on the quiet streets, this house has all of the amenities to provide a hassle free, memorable week at the beach. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate large gatherings such as weddings, reunions or student groups at our house. Absolutely no smoking allowed due to allergies. Maximum occupancy strictly enforced.

Extra Ammenities Included: Fully equipped kitchen with GE profile appliances and Cuisinart small appliances, washer/dryer, six TV/DVD/VCR's, CD players, books, movies, games, 4 bikes, 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, 2 wagons, High speed wireless internet access, fax machine, and Private Pool- 12'x24'. (can be heated for additional charge)

Location: Destin commons shopping plaza is less than 1/2 mile (just across the street) with stadium seating movie theater. Serenity by the Sea spa & Aveda salon nearby. Several championship golf courses within a few miles, Silver sands outlet mall - 3 miles. Only a short walk to the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast(1/2 block; 3-4 minutes; 6-7 houses back). Wide variety of dining options within one mile.

This is a wonderful place to have a vacation. The
house was just perfect in size, decor and location.
With 7 adults and 4 little ones, we had plenty of room,
the beach was just about a 5 min. stroll and when that
was too far the pool was right there. Thank you Katie

We again had a GREAT time in Destin! We try to come every summer and this was our first stay at the Sand Dollar. We were very comfortable and had plenty of room with 3 families and a total of 13 people. The back yard is great and the house very accomodating with all of the little extras!

We celebrated our parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. Families from 4 states traveled to the Sand Dollar. The house and ammenities are extraordinary - it was PERFECT for our crew. With 10 adults and 2 kids everyone had their own space. The kitchen is a dream and the common areas are quite comfortable. Everyone wants to make this an annual trip!!! The biggest decision we had to make all week was whether we wanted to stay at the beach or go to the pool. We loved the privacy of the backyard, too. Katie, thanks for your help with all our plans - you are a sweetheart!

Wow! what can we say! what a beautiful home! we had a great time and so close to the beach and other amenities. Great house and lots of extras! She thought of everything! Very comfortable and in excellent condition! Great to rent from and the best house we have stayed at in 6 years!

We had our 2008 family vacation in Destin this year and we couldn't have been more pleased with area including the beach, and especially the home. It exceeded our expectation in every way. It's beautiful, private, and first class in every way. The pool is great and the beaches are 5 minutes away.
