True island experience on a low budget

If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, comfortable accommodations, true island experience, and possibly the nicest hosts on the island, then this is the place for you! Although we have visited St. John's a few times before, this was our first time in the Coral Bay area, and we were not disappointed! Coral Bay is smack in the middle of wonderful hikes, nice quiet beaches, and great snorkeling, while staying close to restaurants and convenient stores. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and grill at Island Vibes, which is fully equipped to cook up whatever you have in mind. When we were in the mood for some affordable food and drinks, and also the company of the entertaining locals, we drove 5 minutes to Skinny Legs and other restaurants/bars in Coral Bay . Although Island Vibes does not have a view of the water, the surrounding vegetation and nice breezes create a relaxing atmosphere that should not be underestimated. The accommodations are quite comfortable, even without A/C, and the outdoor shower/bathroom on the covered porch is beautiful and refreshing. Best of all, the hosts/owners are incredibly hospitable, while maintaining extreme privacy for their guests. All in all, I would recommend Island Vibes to any couple looking for an authentic island experience on a limited budget!
