Amenities: Two story home which includes front and back covered porches, 15x30 heated in-ground pool, 165 wide private sugar sand beach, and beautiful landscaping. House includes 3 phones, high speed Internet/DSL line, central air conditioning, ceiling fans in all rooms, 3 Satellite TV's, 2 VCRs, DVD players, stereo/CD player, office desk.

Full kitchen includes microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils and linens provided. Washer, dryer, Jacuzzi tub in bath, gas grill (BBQ). Floating rafts and deck chairs. Pets allowed. 37 foot concrete private dockage is available on our canal lot adjacent to the oceanfront home.

We, three couples, rented this house in October (1-8) and enjoyed our stay. The kitchen offered much and we found everythin we needed to cook our cajan meals. I made 10 scuba dives along with my son and daughter-in-law. The pool was a great place to relax and enjoy company. we spent some time on the beach with my 1 year old grandson. He enjoyed playing in the sand. There was a cat there but we kept her fed and enjoyed her company as well. We will probably schedule this same place next year.

Charming and peaceful

We rented this last summer. We were very pleased. The upstairs master bedroom is enormous! Kitchen had everything we needed for nights when we chose to stay in and cook. All bedrooms were comfortable. View from back porch is amazing in the evening and morning. Always a nice breeze. Dock was very convenient. Gardens were beautiful. It feels much more secluded than it really is. Convenient location. Plenty of seating on back porch and by pool. No need to move chairs all around. Stairs that go up to one of the master bedrooms and attached den are narrow and steep and spiraling. Probably not good for someone older. But, the master downstairs is very nice too. The attached den upstairs is very large and had plenty of room for our children to really spread out and play. This summer we have more people so we need more bedrooms , or we would rent this again. Transaction and communication was good.

This home had everything that was described in the listing and more. It was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy the sun, sand and oceanlife. Islamorada also offered many places to enjoy the sunset and great food. I would recommend this property to anyone!

Exactly as described and shown in pictures!

The Last Retreat was an awesome set up for our family! Plenty of space, plenty of privacy. Hard to take a bad picture or not enjoy all the natural beauty on land in the water. Beach and pool were well accessorized with plenty of seating. Porch is fantastic to relax with a cocktail and some good music, look out over the water for miles and hours, enjoying the breeze and sights. Kids enjoyed exploring in the water out front, catching crabs, finding shells and seeing fish. Water shoes needed. Very shallow water, calm water and safe for young kids. Owner is very attentive and helpful in answering all questions and making sure you have a great time. We really enjoyed the laid back local night life with plenty of places to go sit and watch the sunset, grab a cocktail and listen to live music by tiki torch and white sand. Fishing Charters close by and great restaurants within minutes. Lazy Days cooks your fresh catch and the Lazy Days style preparation was a REAL winner with the kids. The Morada Bay Cafe and Lorelia's were outstanding places to enjoy sunsets, live music and were kid friendly. The Last Resort is everything it is promised to be in the pictures and description. We had a great time and were bummed our week for Spring Break next year is taken. Highly recommend it.
