Lovely cottage in a gorgeous setting

Due to Hurricane Sandy delaying our flight, we unexpectedly found ourselves with a few days to explore Sonoma. Gayle graciously accommodated our last-minute booking and even bumped us up to a bigger cottage since the smallest one we asked for was already booked. Gayle and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we wanted to use the Weber grill one night to fire up some steaks. They even had a portable pantry full of spices ready for use! The cottage was very clean, well-furnished, and the kitchen was stocked with quality cookware. It was incredibly convenient to have their Sonoma's Best store right in the front so we could grab coffees and pastries in the morning. It seems to be a local favorite too. They also looked well stocked on artisanal grocery items.
Highly recommended in the area: Sebastiani Winery, Whole Foods Market, The Girl and the Fig restaurant, Russian Rivery Brewery, and Cakebread Cellars winery (in Napa).
