The patio has a brand new stainless steel propane grill. Enjoy steaks or burgers while sitting on comfortable rocker chairs and relax on a comfortable double glider with coffee tables all made by Tropitone. BR B Activities: /B BR The best beach in the area is perfect for adults and kids. Adults can sunbath, swim, run, and take sunset/sunrise walks. Kids love the sand, water and activity. Bocce ball, Frisbees, sand pail, and beach chairs/umbrella provided. BR B Area: /B BR Nearby is Pirates Cove Miniature Golf center (across the street) and downtown Traverse City (3 miles) with quaint boutiques. The TART trail for biking, rollerblading, and walking is across the street. Wineries, golf, gambling, orchards, and Sleeping Bear sand dunes are all within a short driving distance. The unit is on the second floor of the LeGrand Chateau Condo complex which is next to the Grand Beach Hotel and across from the Motel 6.
TART trail: TART Trail Info-The ten mile long TART trail is a paved urban transportation corridor that currently runs between Bunker Hill Road in Acme Township and M-22/M-72 intersection in Traverse City. The trail runs along Grand Traverse Bay, through downtown Traverse City neighborhoods and the Mitchell Creek watershed and is a favorite of families, visitors, bicyclists and in-line skaters.
