From the moment you cross the Isle of Palms connector with the amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean to when you cross the threshold of your Lake Village Vacation Cottage you realize you have arrived somewhere special. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage on a wide lagoon is decorated with the perfect vacation in mind. Fantasy pastels, stripes, checkerboard tiles, Cypress floors all through the main living area – you’ll fall in love with this cottage along with the entire Wild Dunes Resort. Be sure and enjoy all the amenities of the Resort: golf Courses, tennis Center, the bike paths, the Boardwalk, the Plaza, the pool, the restaurants and THE BEACH!

The Living area features comfy down-filled seating, gorgeous window treatment, fireplace, wet bar and large screed/high definition TV. The Dining Area has seating for six – all with lagoon views. The kitchen leaves nothing out – gourmet meals? No problem! A bar height table keeps all the cooks entertained by family or friends.

Step out from the living area or kitchen –to the large porch that overlooks the wide lagoon. There’s plenty of seating for chilling under the ceiling fans. The porch is festively decorated with wicker furniture with striped cushions. You’ll love the fascinating wildlife to check out!

The soothing, serene blue Master bedroom with the custom bedding on a queen feather bed is the place to escape to after a great day at the beach. You even have your own TV. The Master bath has marble tile with an extra deep tub. One of the guest rooms is furnished with a queen bed and the other a set of twins. The theme of the house continues with the bright colors, feather beds, custom bedding, down blankets.

Perfection!

This was a great place to rent for our family of four. Just a short walk to the beach. Two golf courses. Tennis. Biking trails. Not to mention the place is adorable! So close to Charleston and fabulous restaurants. Hope to return in the off season!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Felt like home!

We stayed in this home in 2009 and absolutely loved it! The beds are so comfortable that I slept better than I had in years, the kitchen is very well equipped and the house was so lovely and very clean. It felt like a great vacation but had all of the comforts of home and then some! I would love to stay here again the next time we are in Isle of Palms!

This lovely home welcomes you with charming details and quality furnishings that you would choose to surround yourself with in your own home. It is a paintbox of happy colors and thoughtful touches. The quiet and cozy surroundings (and the sumptuous featherbeds)leave you well and truly rested and ready to enjoy island life. We enjoyed having breakfast out on the screened porch while watching the alligators and egrets in the lagoon. You actually look forward to coming back to this house after a day at the beach and are able to relax and enjoy your companions. This happy place has it all: the location is close to the beach, the Grand Pavilion and Wild Dunes activities, and just a short drive into Charleston and other local attractions. It's simply the perfect spot for a much-needed getaway. It's truly an extra-ordinary place amidst the other run-of-the-mill choices. You'll have beautiful memories here.
