Hi! We're the Smiths and we welcome you to stay with us in beautiful Chico and at my childhood dream house. We moved to Chico from Napa, CA to live in this beautiful historic Chico home which was once owned by a local senator. I grew up in this wonderful town and left to marry and start a family, but Chico is the kind of town that always pulls you back to it. It's a wonderful place that provides beautiful seasons, amazing people that make a fabulous community and a town that is always vibrant and alive.
We chose to offer our guest house at a rental because it is such a beautiful little unit that is rarely used by our personal guests. We also thought it would be a great opportunity to create a slush fund for extra activities we enjoy.
One of the main reasons why we love this property is because of it's size and location. The home & guest house sit on 1.7 acres and is very private. We have beautiful Bidwell park right across the street which provides a wealth of activities for our family and we are close to downtown and shopping. We love riding our bikes to the downtown farmers markets and virtually anywhere around town. It's been a blessing to live here.
