Trinity Pines is a beautiful pine tree filled acreage which is nestled in the East Texas countryside. It is near the small town of Edom which is the home of the legendary Shed Cafe, voted the 'best cafe in East Texas' by several publications and by the food channel.

The lake is beautiful to look at, fish in, relax by. The walking is great for some exercise. The rockers are wonderful to fall asleep in! Or fix the world's problems or forget about them! People who come here say there is a definite peaceful feeling as soon as you enter the gate.

About Mary Ellen Malone

This property was part of a 3000 acre farm and is the most green, heavenly place I have ever been. The lake is beautiful, the cottages are adorable, the atmosphere is peaceful. The porches are inviting. It reminds me of the farm my grandmother had in Oklahoma for generations.

Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the Butterfly House at Trinity Pines and viewing the additional whimsically decorated cottages on the property. Grilled steaks at the playground, chilled by the salt water pool, played guitar in the early morning hours by the lake and strolled the paved pathway surrounding the stocked lake. A beautiful setting to sit back, relax, view wildlife and enjoy one another's company.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Had a group of girlfriends and had a great time swimming in the saltwater pool. relaxing and walking around the lake.

Had a group of counselors. We had a grand time using the walking trails around the lake and the hiking trails in the woods and swimming in the pool.

Had a wonderful time fishing, cooking on the grill, boating, having a bonfire. The hosts were wonderful.
