Clean, comfortable and cost-effective!

I just returned from a four-night stay at Morris' Last Resort and had a very positive experience there! The creekside cabin in which I stayed was extremely clean, comfortable, modern and updated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, cutting board, coffee maker, and even a few coffee packets, which I appreciated. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, etc. (although I didn't need them) and plenty of linens. The bed and living area were very comfortable. Wi-Fi worked without a hitch. I didn't watch tv, but thought the big, flat screen was nice for those who do. The view from the back patio along the creek was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Considering the cabins are just a few minutes north of the main town area, the price was very fair -- and I actually liked being just far enough away from the main strip and noise. The photos, descriptions and other reviews here are right on target. I'd definitely recommend this place to stay and I'll stay here again the next chance I get!

P.S. I recommend Peace Tree, Eclecticafe and Jailhouse for breakfast (in that order!). Miguel's for Mexican; Pasta Jay's for Italian. The Tavern for pool. And, if you want a higher-end dining experience and beautiful setting for dinner, take the 30-35 minute drive along the river to the River Grill Restaurant at Sorrel River Ranch. It's beautiful!

Morris Last Resort

The cabins are quaint, smartly decorated and compact. They are much nicer than a regular hotel room in town. They were clean, roomy and comfortable. It was also nice to have plenty of space for parking. For the price, they can't be beat.

Every night we grilled out and were able to watch the sunset over the mountains from the back deck.

The individual cabins were so nice, in that you didn't have to worry about how loud your tv was, or if your neighbors were up early in the morning, their noise would spill over to your cabin.

We had a trouble connecting the wi-fi and a quick call to the owners (who were at a football game), solved our problem.

Moab has so much to offer and the trees were beautiful the end of September.

We drove out to the mountain cabins and hope to stay their on our next visit.

Marvelous Moab

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Moab Oct 8 - 14 and staying at Morris' Last Resort was an extra special treat! Our hosts were most accomodating from the minute we contacted them. Our cabin suited the two of us perfectly for our 6 nights there. We were very comfortable and cozy and felt right at home. The cabins are sited for privacy and views. The cabin seems new and the furnishings are very tasteful. Used the deck out the back door daily. The owners are obviously proud of their
We enjoyed hanging out at the cabin in the mornings and evenings and using it as a base for our days to the fantastic Arches and Canyonlands Nat'l Parks. We ate breakfast in our cabin daily and enjoyed one supper there. We enjoyed delicious food in every restaurant we tried in Moab including Pasta Jay's, the Moab Diner and Eddie McStiff's. We also indulged in the local homemade ice cream shops, visiting Hogi Yogi, the parlor/coffee shop attached to Eddie McStiff's and Crystal's Cakes and Cones - Coconut Almond's to die for, according to my spouse! There's so much to do and see in Moab, too, including their awesome city library and town museum, wetlands preserve and petroglyphs. The early to mid October weather was perfect with a chill in the air at night and mild to warm days. We're already ready to go back now!

Bijou inside, price reflects location.

Compact, clean and very nicely decorated inside. Just enough space for 2 adults, a teen and a dog but more people would be confining. Best for people who plan to be out experiencing the National Parks rather than staying in. View could be improved by hiding the industrial estate next door. Our creekside cabin was furthest from the road so we did not hear too much noise during the night. Good value for its location well out of town.

Owner's Response: Plans are underway to fence our property, which would block the view of the neighboring property.
