The Oasis is the ultimate vacation home with every luxury including very upscale furniture - all Tommy Bahama inspired - professionally decorated with antique stained glass and antique heart of pine floors, H/K home theater with new 55' plasma HDTV, satellite TV and DVD in every room, big game room with dedicated sound system, pool table, foosball, and ping pong, gas grill, huge double shower and jacuzzi in master bath, private full bath for each bedroom, granite tops in the very fully equipped kitchen, and too many more amenities to list. Fully appointed with all towels, linens, soaps, etc. Porta-Crib, new high chair. Peaceful residential neighborhood, but close to the beach and all the action. One of very few properties to earn Wild Dunes coveted 'VIP' rating.

Large groups are accommodated in comfort, style, and privacy. Open, bright floor plan. This home offers something for all ages: kids love the pool and game room, adults love a cool beverage and nice breeze on the balcony

We really enjoyed our time at the house. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We loved the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Major plus for us!!
One thing, the ice maker is soooo loud at night!!!

Fantastic home and even better owners

We had our family vacation at the Oasis and loved it. The owners (Tom and his family) keep the home in great condition and it has every amenity you could want. The pool was awesome, the entertainment center was amazing. We had 13 people in our party and the open style of the family room/kitchen/deck made gathering and socializing really relaxing and enjoyable. The home is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, plates, waffle maker, ice maker, microwave, cups, etc. which made staying in really easy. Tom and his family had a list of things to do around the area available for us which was a nice touch. Each room was spacious and had their own bathrooms and tvs. The golf cart is a must and made going around the resort and its beaches fun and simple. If you're looking for a great home in a great location for a family vacation, you can't go wrong with this home right in the heart of the Wild Dunes resort.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

A true vacation home!!

The oasis was so nice, spacious, clean and well kept. The owner was so pleasant to deal with and has filled the house with everything you could possibly need- beach & pool gear, games & dvds, extra towels & linens, a guide & tips for the area, etc..The oasis made our family vacation unforgettable!

The descriptive listing of this property at the VRBO web-site was "right on"! All of the pictures became reality upon entering the property. This is an excellent rental property and the amenties are so much appreciated. We had our family of ten there (ages 6 to 78) for our annual family vacation and everyone really enjoyed every aspect of this home. It was very clean, the kitchen was wonderfully stocked, and the entire layout of the home was great for our family. The six spacious bedrooms, with each having a private bathroom, provided privacy and the "gathering areas" whether off the kitchen in the home theater area or on the several large porches, or around the pool area were more than adequate.

The owner offers so much information about the property and actually makes restaurant recommendations, where to buy groceries, a list of activities available, best beach areas, rainy day activities (we didn't have any!) and even lets you know where to buy the lst morning paper! In my world I put this owner in the category of "easy to do business with" after working in business for 39 years.
I have not over-rated this property and I highly recommend it to anyone interested. Being in the greater Charleston area is also an added plus.

Fantastic and CLEAN property!

This was our second consecutive year renting this property; It did not disappoint. The photos accurately represent the house--in fact, it is BETTER than the photos. The golf cart is key for exploring the neighborhood and getting to the beach. The pool in the backyard provides a cool respite from the sun. The location is great because you are secluded enough, yet have easy access to all of the action. Best of all, the owners are amazing. We ran out of trash bags and lightbulbs and the owner had someone deliver the items. Now that's Ritz Carlton service! We loved it-again--and hope we are fortunate enough to stay at this beautiful property for years to come. Thank you!!
