Activities:
Ft Walton Beach and Destin have some of the most beautiful beaches and water with activities galore (boating, snorkeling, swimming, water skiing, fishing, walks on the beach). You can rent boats, jet skis, water equipment or take a charter for fishing, snorkeling or just riding in the sunset. There is the Bay with gentle waters and mild sloping sand or the Gulf with the waves and action for all to be had.
Some like to take a day to visit the specialty shops or go bargain hunting at the outlet mall. If golf is on your agenda, you will find some of the most beautiful courses located in this area. Okaloosa Island Beaches (the prettiest around) with boardwalks and bathrooms right on the beach - 2 miles. Liza Jackson Park and boat ramp - 1/2 mile. Restaurants are located as close as 2 blocks. Tourist and specialty shops - 1/2 mile. Major grocery - 1/2 mile. Big Kahuna's Lost Paradise Water Park - 8.95 miles. Marine Show Aquarium (Gulfarium) - 1.9 miles. Santa Rosa Mall - 3.5 miles. Silver Sands Factory Outlet Mall - 16 miles.
