Vallecito ("Little Valley") Lake is located in the beautiful San Juan Mountains and is on the edge of Colorado's largest Wilderness area, The Weminuche. Hiking trails abound at Vallecito Lake. The Vallecito Creek and Pine River Trails take you up beautiful canyons and valleys.
The Cave Basin trail is accessed by a Forest Service road up Middle Mountain and starts you off at over 10,000 ft.. The Lake Eileen Trail is a strenuous but short trail to a beautiful mountain lake. The full-service marina provides a wide variety of boat rentals. Even non-fishermen have fun cruising the lake in a pontoon boat. Horseback riding couldn't be finer! The trails are scenic and the guides knowledgeable.
Don't miss out on the "cowboy" breakfast ride. Several fine restaurants are available when you don't feel like cooking at "home". Run out of something?.....There are also a couple of stores awaiting to re-stock your shelves.

New in 2011! In an effort to make our home more affordable to couples and small families we have established a new and lower rate based on double occupancy. The rate for larger parties has, nevertheless, remained the same for the last 4 years!
