Amenities: This cottage offers a comfortable open living room, dining room and kitchen area and is completely furnished and ready for your enjoyment. It has a washer/dryer, bed linens, kitchenware, coffeemaker, toaster, TV, patio table & chairs, and campfire pit. Includes full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and range w/ oven, informal dining area with sliders to a patio, picnic table, grill, fireplace in living room, and a whirlpool tub for two in one bathroom.
Activities: For the summer season, swimming, boating, water-skiing, fishing, biking, and golf are available. Lake Mitchell is a shallow, clear, sandy bottom lake with an average depth of 8 – 10 feet. The nearby Manistee and Pine Rivers provide access to canoeing and tubing excursions. For the fall season, the fishing is great and the colors are beautiful. You’ll enjoy the peace and quiet. For the winter season, there is easy access to the snowmobile trail system that offers hundreds of miles of groomed trails. For skiers, by car, it’s fifteen minutes to Caberfae Peaks or forty minutes to Crystal Mountain. Located near the edge of the Huron-Manistee National Forest, this location offers numerous recreational activities.
There are numerous challenging golf courses just minutes away. For fishermen, Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac offer a large population of bluegill, crappie, perch, walleye, northern pike and bass. There is a paved trail that circles Lake Cadillac that is excellent for biking, hiking, or in-line skating. There are many local restaurants to choose from, some of which offer boat docking so you can eat or even grab an ice cream cone without getting in your car. The city of Cadillac offers quaint downtown shops with everything from knick-knacks, to sweets.
