Additional Information:
The children can play safely in the sandbox, on the swing or slide and in the treefort. Perhaps a bike ride is in order, a large trail system begins near the house.
Our house is situated on a quiet, tree lined cul-de-sac bordered by a creek and around the corner from Canmore's flagship playground and soccer field. It is minutes from downtown Canmore with its fine restaurants, pubs, and shops.
Activities:
-Five minute drive to the Canmore Nordic Centre, site of the 1988 Olympics for cross-country skiing. In winter there are hundreds of kilometers of groomed and track set trails with a day lodge and rentals available. In summer these trails are open for mountain biking and the center hosts world cup mountain bike races. Bike and ski rentals are also available.
- Five world class golf courses within an hour drive or closer.
- Downhill ski areas are all within an hour’s drive or less and include Lake Louise, Sunshine, Banff at Mt Norquay and Nakiska (site of the 1988 downhill Olympic events).
Walk from the house to the Bow River, renowned for its excellent fly fishing.
