This charming 42 sq mt apartment is situated in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, one street in from the Ramblas, the emblematic promenade stretching from Plaza Catalunia to the Port, and Plaza del Pi. Plaza del Pi is a popular square in the Gothic Quarter of central Barcelona, taking its name from the legendary pine tree in the plaza in front of the 14th Church of Santa Maria del Pi. The apartment is a first floor double balcony apartment sleeping 1-4 persons on a quiet pedestrian street in the very heart of Barcelona's famous Gothic Quarter. Entirely renovated with stylish décor conserving an 18th century atmosphere and elegance. The main living space is made up of a living room with a convertible double bed sofa, a dining room seating 4, and a double bedroom with a queen size bed. The apartment has 4 metre high beamed ceilings in the three main rooms as well as two balconies with typical French doors and modern double-glazed windows.

Surrounded by great shops and some of the finest dining. Night ambiance for all tastes. Around the corner form the beautiful Plaza del Pi host to the artesnal food market and artist market every weekend. 1 minute to the green line metro, El Liceu. Let your feet do the discovering of everything that is just round the corner form this apartment.

We LOVED this apartment. It's located one minute from the Rambla, maybe three minutes from the Boqueria market, just as close to some of the lovely little plazas that make the Gothic Quarter charming. On weekends there's a market in one of them. So the location is great. The pictures of the apartment that are posted on the website are a fair representation - even though it's in an older building the apartment is modern in furnishings and in equipment (e.g. stove, dishwasher, washing machine, all of which we used).
The owner lives in Spain but is a native English speaker who communicated abundantly with us in advance of arrival. She gave us good advice about arrival and arranged for us to be met and escorted to the apartment. We got a good orientation and found lots of info about Barcelona waiting for us too. When we needed more information or advice while we were staying there, it was readily available.
The apartment was spotless and everything seemed to be in excellent condition.
Barcelona was wonderful and we took advantage of our location to spend a lot of our time in the old city. There are great churches including Santa Maria del Mar which is spectacular and the Cathedral. Santa Maria del Pi, which is very close to the apartment, was being renovated in October 2009 when we visited, hope it will be done soon as there's a great rose window. Buses and subways that will get you to the wonderful moderniste buildings in the Eixample or the superb museums in Montjuic are close at hand too so almost everything you want to see in the city is handy.
We absolutely recommend this property without any reservations at all.

Great Flat in Barcelona

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. The flat was more than we expected. We had all of the amenities we needed. The location was awesome - we were able to walk everywhere. We have taken many trips to Europe, but this one really stands out. I have nothing negative to say about our experience. We will be back.

Simply the best

Everything one (or in our case two) could ask for. From location to comfort to friendliness of owners. Nothing over the top, just that homely feeling and space to move. We actually extended our stay by extra two days. Whatewer we needed was there. We would recommend this place to anybody and when we come back to Barcelona in the future we'd like to stay there again.
