GORGEOUS CONDO AT NORTH COAST VILLAGE WITH WONDERFUL VIEWS.

I'm one of those people who do a lot of research and comparison when making a decision and I am glad we chose to rent Jackie's condo for our summer 2011 Oceanside vacation.

This condo has everything we needed with all the amenities and comfort of home. It was well kept and clean. The bed was really comfortable. All the appliances worked as expected. And the service was excellent. Jackie had really gone out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

When we were searching for a place to stay, we wanted it to be centrally located and safe. This condo is in a gated community and only steps away from the beach. It fits our requirements perfectly!

I also like the fact that it is not too far from many great attractions. It is only 45 minutes drive to the Temecula wine country, 40 minutes drive to downtown San Diego, and 2 hours drive to Disneyland. Unless you really like Disneyland, spending a week going to the same place over and over again doesn't sound very fun to me. Staying in Oceanside gives us a lot more choices. We could drive up to Temecula to sample the local wineries or take a balloon ride to see the beautiful Temecula Valley. Or drive down to visit San Diego's attractions. And if we feel like it we could drive up early to Disneyland and spend a whole day there.

But there are also a lot of stuffs to do in Oceanside as well. My wife and I love to take walks on the beach. The beach is clean and it is not overly crowded. You can easily find a good spot to sit and soak up the sun.

We also like to fish on the nearby fishing pier (a license is not required if one fishes off the pier). It is a short walk from the condo. After a long day of sightseeing, we'd grab our fishing pools, pack some snacks, and head off to the pier. I love the feel of the evening breeze as we fish and watch the sunset.

One last thing I would like to mention is that there are a lot of local restaurants near the condo. Most of them are within walking distance. For us, we prefer to cook our own meal. There's a Ralphs grocery store nearby, which is about 5 minutes drive away. That's where we did most of our shopping. The condo has all the utensils, appliances, and cooking ware that one might need. So it wasn't a problem for us to cook dinner and pack lunch for the next day's sightseeing trip. My wife really loves the kitchen. She said everything is so convenient!

Overall, we are very happy with Jackie's condo. We are planning to rent it again on our next trip.
