Island Palms Cottage is just a 5-minute golf cart or bike ride to the beach, the harbor, the Maritime Market and Shops at Maritime Way, and the Nature Trail and 2 minutes to the Creek Access, Old Baldy Lighthouse, and the Wildlife Overlook.
Our tastefully-decorated 1,700+ sq ft home boasts a bright and airy open floor plan and ALL hardwood floors, plus plenty of outdoor living space. After a day at the beach, kayaking in the marsh, or biking the island trails, you can relax on the 300 sq ft screened porch, taking in the tranquility of the maritime forest of sable palms and majestic live oaks draped in Spanish moss.
This beautiful home sleeps 8, comfortably accommodating one large family or two smaller families. The large master has a king bed, a balcony overlooking the golf course, a 32” TV/DVD, and bath with tub/shower.
The spacious “bunkroom” is an ideal retreat for kids of all ages with two full-over-full bunks (sleeping 4-6), a sofa, and a 32” iPod-compatible flat screen TV/DVD/VCR. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, TV/VCR, and shares a hall bath (tub and shower) with the bunkroom. A port-a-crib and high chair are provided.
The large family room has two overstuffed sofas that offer golf course and forest views and a 32” flatscreen TV/DVD. The dining room table seats eight, and the fully-equipped kitchen, ½ bath, washer/dryer, and wrap-around screened porch complete the first floor plan. The cart garage includes an outdoor shower, plus plenty of storage space for beach gear.
Amenities include cable, WiFi, iPod-compatible sound system, DVDs, games, and book swap. Sheets/bedding, bath and beach towels, beach chairs/toys, charcoal grill, and starter paper products/toiletries are provided so you can pack lightly!
Our home rents Sunday to Sunday during the summer, and we can be more flexible in the off season. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out is 10 am.
Temporary Membership for the Shoals Clubs is available as an option. The Temporary Club Membership includes access to the pool, complimentary towels, a small fitness center, volleyball court, bocce, and Club and Grill dining. There is along beach access at the Shoals Club, with chairs and beach umbrellas available with membership.

A $300 deposit reserves your week with final payment due 30 days before check-in. If you cancel more than 30 days out, your deposit is fully refundable. The cleaning fee is included in rate. We require that the primary renter who signs the rental agreement be at least 25 years of age and that golf cart drivers be 18 years of age.
