Great place to stay!

This was our first trip to the Bahamas and our first experience renting a private unit via the internet. I was really nervous until I talked to the owner, he was so helpful and informative, Then when we walked in and saw how nice the Penthouse was we were so pleased and relieved! The photos show the rooms accurately, but don't they really portray the size. We were surprised at the amount of space there actually was, even with 11 of staying there we never felt overly crowded. The bedrooms were a nice size and the beds were comfortable. Our favorite place was the terrace, we spent every morning out there drinking coffee and enjoying the sunrise. The view was spectacular and even in the hot sun the breeze off the ocean kept it refreshing. My mom and her sister were perfectly happy to spend their day sitting there watching over the ocean. The Penthouse was very clean, the air conditioning was great, we have no complaints at all!
The guys all went deep sea fishing on a charter with Captain Bryan Collins, they caught several tuna one day and then another day went bottom fishing and caught over 30 fish! It was a great experience, we highly recommend Bryan also! Another day some of us went on the Dolphin Experience while others went diving with Unexco at Port Lucaya, we all had a great time and recommend that too.
Our favorite place to eat was the Coral Beach Bar and Grill right down beside the pool. They had excellent food and the people were all so friendly and nice. We also ate at Pisces in Port Lucaya, they had excellent food and service but their prices were higher.
We didn't rent the van, but after a few taxi rides we thought we might have to as the taxis were so expensive. Then we rode a bus and found out that you can get the driver's phone numbers and call them when you want to go somewhere. They would come right to the front door of the complex and take us wherever we wanted to go for very little money. We also came in contact with other drivers that were willing to come get us after hours when the buses quit running and they too were cheaper than the taxis.
It was a wonderful vacation, we loved the beach, the weather, the food, the Penthouse and the people in Freeport were so friendly. Hopefully we can go back someday.
