Ski In - Ski Out. It can't get any better than this for easy slope access. Up one flight of stairs and you are back at the room. Shanty Creek Schuss Village Resort. Schuss Village has 46 ski runs for all abilities. The five quad chair makes waiting in line a thing of the past. Tubing is also available. Walk to the indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub and sauna are a great way to unwind. Ivan's restaurant provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, full bar and snacks also walking distance. Weekly activities throughout the year are available to all guests.There is a full service spa at Shanty Creek. All three of the villages are accessed by a shuttle bus on the property. Easily accessed from I-75, U.S. 131, U.S. 27 or by air at Traverse City Cherry Airport. Avalanche Bay indoor water park is 20 minutes away,

There is a free shuttle bus available to all guests. You may visit Shanty Creek, Cedar Village and Schuss Village by shuttle bus. The bus runs from early morning to late in the evening. The area has beautiful trails to explore. This is truly a family resort with activities for everyone. Please note that internet service is available in the main lodge lobby where there is comfortable furniture and a large screen TV. There is no phone service in the units.   • 50% of total room rate due 5 days after booking, balance due 14 days prior to arrival.
    Cancellation Policy:
    50% of your deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made 14 days prior to arrival. There will be no refund for cancellation made 13 days or less before arrival. There will be no touch ups while you are renting the room. Additional towels will be available. 2 night minimum stay is required uless pre-arranged.

    $ 70.00 per room per night Sunday through Thursday

    Winter Holiday Rates $ 160.00 per room per night.
  • The two rooms may be rented independently or as a combination with a connecting door. Each unit has a complete bath and outside door. These are hotel style rooms. They have been completely updated in June 2009.

Schuss Mt Resort at Shanty Creek: For your enjoyment there are both indoor & outdoor pools, hot tub and sauna at Schuss Village. Ivan's restaurant provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and a full bar. Many activities during the week are scheduled with a current list available in the main lobby at the front desk. The convenience store are located in Hansel Lodge. These units are exceptionally clean and updated. Cleaning will be done after your departure and there are no touch ups during your stay unless requested. There are no telephones in these units Amenities include, fitness center, restaurants, indoor water park 20 miles away, shops, nature areas. Close to casinos in Traverse City and Petotsky.

Directions: Schuss Village is easy to find just follow the signs from M-88 into the village. You will be given complete directions upon booking.

Golf: There are six championship golf courses available, The Legend by Arnold Palmer, Cedar Rive Golf Club by Tom Weiskopf, The Chief, Hawkeye, Schuss Mountain and Shanty Creek courses. There are other courses in the immediate area.
