Schuss Mt Resort at Shanty Creek: For your enjoyment there are both indoor & outdoor pools, hot tub and sauna at Schuss Village. Ivan's restaurant provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks with live entertainment on the weekends. Many activies during the week are scheduled with a current list available at the front desk. A ski shop and convenience store are located in Hansel Lodge. These units are exceptionally clean and updated. Cleaning will be done after your departure and there are no touch ups during your stay unless requested. Amenities include, fitness center, restaurants, shops, nature areas. Close to casinos in Traverse City and Petotsky.
Directions: Schuss Village is easy to find just follow the signs from M-88 into the village.
Ski: The chairlift is only steps from the door. There are 5 quad chairs with 46 runs for all abilities. Lessons are available for all ages and abilities. The hills are groomed daily. NASTAR races run on a regular basis. A great place to enjoy the snowy northern Michigan north.
