This beautiful, new top chalet offers the comfort that 12 people want: 6 individual double rooms (3 with double beds, 3 each with 2 single beds that can be placed together), 3 individual WCs and 3 shower baths and a 50 m2 large cosy living-dining room under the wood beam roof (WLAN, stereo, DVD; 42' SAT HDTV) with a stunning panorama view from 1600 m up in the sunny Rhone Valley. There is heated flooring and 500 l warm water capacity. The kitchen is equipped with a freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Bedsheets and 2 sauna towels and hand towels per guest complete the comfort. The outdoor sauna with windows has an impressive view of the valley! Despite the location on the slopes, the chalet can be reached by car. During the summer, you will find 200 km of hiking paths that run past the streams (Bisses) in the mountains. Ideal mountain biking area. You can start directly from the house. During the summer, the sun is there from about 9 AM to 8:30 PM.

The ski region around Nendaz: From Nendaz you can reach the mountain station Tracouet at 2200 m above sea level in just 8 minutes with the cable car. The region of Tracouet is ideal for beginners and children who will find the required infrastructure on the frozen lake. For years, there has been a snow park on the Tracouet. Right now, it consists of rails, different obstacles and a jumping course. The 'Croq'Bar' with the loungers is a great meeting point. The slopes of Tracouet down to Nendaz offer different levels of difficulty and if that is not enough, you can reach Siviez from Tracouet on skis. From there, you have the choice between Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon or Verbiert-Mont-Fort. During the season, families profit with discounts from the ski pass.

Family discounts: The ski region of the 4 Vallées consists of different sectors, which can be enjoyed with one single ski pass or also with sector-specific ski passes. In Nendaz, you have the choice between a ski pass 'Printze' for Nendaz, Siviez, Veysonnaz and Thyon or a ski pass '4 Vallées' which you can use to also go on Mont Fort, to Verbier and La Tzoumaz. There are three different tariffs (day passes and two half-day passes: one after 11 Am and the other after 12:30 PM), Families can enjoy special discounts: the 1st parent pays 100%, the 2nd parent 70%, children between 5 and 16 years of age 40% and children between 16 and 20 years 70%. Students up to 20 years of age receive a 15% discount. The family rates apply for ski passes for 2 days or more, the youth tariff also applies for daily and half-daily passes.

Nendaz is in the middle of the Walliser Alps in Switzerland and stretches from the Rhone area up to 3330 m above sea level. Nendaz is located in one of the largest ski regions in Europe, the 4 valleys together with Verbier, Veysonnaz and Thyon. 400 km of slopes with 94 cable cars. Spend a ski day without using the same slope twice. The Mont-Fort at 3330 m above sea level is the centre of the ski region. The snow conditions are always excellent. Furthermore, it fulfils the requirements of the 'free riders' looking for freedom, untouched nature and powder snow. In Nendaz, 'free riding' has been a part of the local culture for years. Tracouet with its frozen lake provides the optimal environment for beginners and children. During the summer, the 250 km of hiking paths between the valleys and the glacier, the paths along the Suonen (small streams) and a lot of other activities like mountain biking, paragliding, beach volleyball, fishing...

Golf: The closest golf course is 18 km away. In a radius of 35 km you will find 2 more golf courses.

Ski: An excursion to the Mont-Fort, the top of the 4 Vallées, is not just worth it for skiers who can go down the slopes in the winter. The unforgettable panorama view of the Alps with Mont-Blanc, Jungfrau and Matterhorn will excite everyone! Altogether, here we have a view of 50 four-thousand-meter mountains. In July and August, Nendaz organizes excursions in order to experience the sunrise on the Mont-Fort. After this, you can strengthen yourself with breakfast on the Col des Gentianes. For those who wake up earlier, the drive is possible between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM, you will always be amazed by this natural spectacle. Here is the technical information again: 400 km of slopes where 103 km are black slopes, 168 km red slopes and 129 km blue slopes. Height of the ski region: 1000 to 3300 m above sea level. Open: from the beginning of November to the end of April and from the middle of June to the middle of October for walkers.

ski in/out chalet with enough space for 10-12

Description was oke and good. it would be better if there was a fire place. for 10 people oke, if 12 people it would be a bit small.
it's one of the best chalets we've been to in a couple of years. the price is a little bit high when you are with 10. and it would be better with 12.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

You have a wonderful chalet and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. We realise the snow was 'going' however we managed to ski everyday.
