Tiny little town, great location

Casa Rural El Cano is in a tiny little town surrounded by fields, cattle, and solar panels. Galinduste has a mercato and a bar -- all you really need to enjoy your stay here. The house itself is lovely. The garden and outdoor spaces are inviting, and the rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. We all agreed that the beds are the best we've ever slept on while in Europe.
Casa Rural El Cano actually contains two separate rental units. One unit sleeps ten (VRBO # 310533) and the other sleeps six. Javier and Rosa, the owners, will rent you either unit, or you can rent both, but they will not rent the units to separate groups, so your privacy is assured. This house would be fantastic for a group of cyclists -- you are within 30 miles of Salamanca and 60 miles of Avila, with lots of open farmland and country roads between them.
We rented Cano I, the part of the house that slept six. The only problem we encountered was that the pantry was a bit sparse -- the accumulation of spices, oils, and staples that you usually find simply was not present. When we asked Javier about it, he promptly brought over some basics (probably from his own kitchen - he lives just a few houses away) and a selection of delicious chorizo. We got a tour of Cano II, which had a better-stocked larder and some awesome bedrooms.

We greatly appreciate your comments of your visit to our cottage. We just wanted to make a clarification to the issue of the pantry. In Spain, for health and hygiene reasons no species aren't put in the pantry. Guests buy that they need and bring it themselves. Anyway we are ready to solve any problems that may arise to make your stay in our house is very nice.
We are pleased that our beds were the best in Europe to rest.
