Lakefront 3 BR ranch style home with 97 feet of frontage on a private peninsula on the north shore of beautiful Little Platte Lake which adjoins the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore which recently was voted the no. 1 most beautiful place in America in a poll taken by Good Morning America.. The property has gorgeous sunset views overlooking the Lake and is only 5 minutes from the beautiful sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. The lake frontage has clean, clear water and a sandy bottom. . The area features quiet natural beauty and serenity. The home is 7 miles south of Empire and 22 miles west of Traverse City. The living areas of the home are on one level with an open floor plan and lake views and contain an open living, dining, kitchen area, master bedroom with queen size bed, second bedroom with two twin beds, third bedroom with two bunk beds, one full bath and one half bath.

  • $900-1400/Week
  • June 9 to September 8 Weekly only Saturday to Saturday; $1400/week, $300 refundable damage deposit required at time of booking.
    Weekends and weekdays May 1 to June 9 and Sept. 8 to Nov. 3 .$900/week or $150/day for 1-2 persons and $200/day for 3-6 persons with a 2 day minimum. $150 refundable damage deposit required at time of booking.


    - One half the rent due 60 days prior to reservation date with balance due upon arrival.
    -Deposit refunded 10 days after departure, less any damages.
    -If cancellation occurs 60 or more days prior to reservation date, deposit will be refunded.
    -6% Michigan tax added to all rents.
  • A small pet may be considered--$50 charge.

Very clean family home!

We had a great time at your cottage and we truly can't wait to come back. We've rented other houses and cottages before and none have been the quality level of yours. The cleanliness and amenities are extremely appreciated. I'm sure we'll plan another fall trip this year!

Fantastic property for a family!

We loved our stay at Little Platte Lake! The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. Our toddler and dog had a great time playing outside. The setting was beautiful. The owners provided an excellent description and were great with communication. The satellite tv and high-speed Internet access were very handy and welcome amenities. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely Little Platte Lake home

We had a wonderful stay at the home on Little Platte Lake. The house was very clean and comfortable, the setting was beautiful and the location was convenient to Lake Michigan. I don't think we saw a neighbor all week. The owners were extremely responsive and honest.
