'Wind Swept' is located a mile outside Harbor Springs, just west of the Harbor Point Golf Course. Close to beaches, boating, shops and restaurants. Also close to many great golf courses, and trails for biking, walking or roller-blading. Built in 2000, this executive home has four bedrooms, and incredible views of Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan. There is a large deck with views of the water to watch both the sunrise and awesome sunsets. It is also great for star gazing. A restful and quiet setting on top of a 'Wind Swept' hill. 'Wind Swept' is a spacious 3500 square foot home with cathedral ceilings, windows galore, four bedrooms, three and a half baths, a great room with fireplace, gourmet kitchen, dining room that seats up to 12 and a turret that begs you to sit and look at the views. The master suite has a king size bed, a private entry to the deck with that same breath taking views of bay and lake, a large bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower.

  • $2900.00/Week
  • 50% of the rent is due at booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. A $200.00 damage/cleaning fee is collected at this time as well to cover damages, or excessive cleaning. This is returned within 30 days after departure if not needed. If a reservation is canceled prior to 30 days of the arrival date half of the deposit will be returned. If cancellation is within the 30 day period the deposit is forfeited.

The second bedroom is spacious and has two full size beds with a entrance to a full bath. The third bedroom is brightly decorated and has a queen size bed. The fourth has two single beds. Bed rooms three and four have their own vanities and have a shower and toilet between them. There is a large family area with cable TV, VCR, and a CD player. It also has a pool table and a bar area. Amenities:This home has an attached garage, utility room with washer and dryer, gas fireplace, equipped kitchen, deck to enjoy either the sunrise or sunset, with gas grill. This home has all the things you will need or want to make yourself comfortable while away from your home. Activities:Come and enjoy the beauty of Northern Michigan! Close to Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Bay Harbor and Charlevoix and it is only a 30 minute drive to world famous Mackinac City/Island. There are great golf courses and restaurants, as well as shopping in unique shops.

There is swimming at the close beaches, and great boating. Area:Closest airports are Pellston airport 30 minutes away, or there is a larger airport in Traverse City, an hour and half away.

I'm picky about my vacation rentals and this home did not disappoint me in any way.
The house is new, beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and very clean. We met the owners and they even sent us a gorgeous flower arrangement upon arrival for the week. It did have panoramic views of the lake as it said and a peaceful deck to watch boats and the sunsets. The wildlife (turkey, deer, many birds) in the mornings and late afternoons were an added bonus to watch every day! I highly recommend this property.

Great home! Picture perfect views!

This is a wonderful, warm home. It overlooks a huge grassy backyard and has perfect views of the lake.

While the home is 3500 sq. feet, it feels much larger because of all the windows, patios, and backyard.

Everything was clean and well cared for. Only downside, was the home's heating/AC was difficult to figure out. Either the up stairs area would be freezing and the lower level would be boiling hot or vice verse. After 2 or 3 days we got it all sorted out.

We would stay here again no questions asked!
