This is the best location available in St. Paul. It is the first floor unit with two bedroom historic duplex is one block off Grand Ave on the corner of Lincoln and Syndicate Ave. with many restaurants, shopping and public transportation. It is central to many of the best schools in St. Paul... Macalister , St. Thomas, Concordia, Williams Mitchell, St. Paul College, St. Catherine to name a few. It is two blocks from Summit Ave. where you can walk, jog or bike to the Mississippi River and Park area with beautiful views. It is also very close to the Governor's Mansion. You are one short block from the original Kowalski's Grocery store and the original Green Mill Restaurant.
This historic duplex has been updated and renovated. It has new furniture two bedrooms and two upgraded queen beds and a convertible sofa for more guest if needed on the all season sun porch, WiFi and Direct TV on HD Flat Screen. Also furnished with LG washer and dryer. There is a beautiful totally private yard with a nice patio with a gas grill.

Convenience to everything Airport, shopping, restaurants downtown St. Paul, Mall of America, and Minneapolis. Grand Ave is one block from the house, and has many restaurants and shopping.
I was leery about renting the property because there were few photos, few reviews, and the reviews were more than a year old. However, this place is a gem! It was clean, comfortable, accommodating, and right off Grand Ave. The photos are accurate. The owners were available for any requests. We enjoyed lunch at Grand Ole Creamery which is a business of the property owners. Awesome Ice cream! I would recommend this property to friends and relatives. Thanks for a wonderful welcome and stay at your lovely home! We will be back!
We stayed here right after Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The photos are accurate and the areas of the house that aren't photographed (bathroom and second bedroom), are nice. Everything was very clean and the owners have provided little practical amenities such as aluminum foil, soap in the bathroom, etc. The house had the vibe of coming home, rather than an empty, impersonal place. The property isn't luxurious, but it was quite easy to settle in here and enjoy the home and neighborhood. Having a Kowalski's grocery store a block away is a great bonus, and the whole Grand Avenue neighborhood is filled with fun shops and restaurants. The owners were very accommodating and generously provided a gift card to their business, Grand Ole Creamery. I highly recommend the Coffee Break ice cream. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and I'd recommend this place!
We had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed all the hustle and bustle of Grand Avenue on a beautiful weekend. This duplex is very close to all the restaurants and shops. We walked towards downtown one day and towards Mac/Groveland the other. It was great to park the car, walk and enjoy St. Paul as residents do. The home looks exactly like the pictures and has all the amenities that make for a great getaway. The TV in the living room is grand with several movie channel selections. Thank you for a great getaway.
My wife and I stayed here with two of our adult children for 3 nights over New Years, 2012. The home is one of the most charming we've encountered, and the owners, Gary and Dawn, are just the best. They own a business in the area, and are so helpful about both the home and area. The location can't be beat - a block off of Grand Ave., with all the shopping, restaurants and conveniences you could imagine (including a Kowalski's Market a block from the house that is amazing. My dietician daughter walked in and said "I'm home!"). We had just a great time, and loved every minute we were at the property and its environs.
