This first floor vacation condo features a screen porch overlooking one of the island's 3 pools with a beautiful view of 3 miles of private, uncrowded beach and morning sunrises. Just 70 yards over the boardwalk, over the sea oats/sand dunes and you're on the beach!!! Inside you are greeted by rattan furniture, sailor blue bedroom furniture with a queen-sized bed , 2 TV's (with cable), VCR and DVD. We love to relax and enjoy the warmth of the sun, cool water and carefree attitude in a quiet neighborhood atmosphere with 24-hour security guards at the gated entrance. Most of the residents and visitors are here for the solitude and natural beauty. Harbor Island is almost as pristine today as it was hundreds of years ago. Take long walks on your own sandy beach. Perfect for your Honeymoon, Romantic Getaway or family vacation. Sunrises, flowing waters, gentle breezes, saltwater marshes, sunsets and spacious views await you.

Penn was founded by northern missionaries in 1862 for the education of blacks.

Notes: Only 15 minutes from historic downtown Beaufort. Within the town of Beaufort are 90 historic homes and buildings dating back to the early 1700's. Beaufort's only historic home open to the public is the Mark Verdieer House located at 801 Bay Street and is an excellent example of the federal-style house. Open Mon. - Sat. for guided tours. The Beaufort Arsenal and Museum is located on the corner of Craven and Carteret street and displays Indian artifacts, art, textiles, and Civil War weapons. Enjoy the Spirit of Old Beaufort walking tours with period costumed guides, 1.5 hrs. The Parris Island Recruit Depot Museum is an all-encompassing view of the history of Parris Island. This was my second trip in this condo and it was excellent as was the firstvisit. It was clean and beautifully decorated and the owner was so helpful. Our friends loved it and want to go back again. It was so peacful with so much to see and do. I'd recomend it all ages who like fun and fishing at the beautiful beach. And the long walks were spectacular. Will return again as soon as possible. I have been to Hunting Island @ Beaufort, S.C. many times off & on since I was a child but I had never
visited Harbor Island. I stayed @ this condo in August of
2007 & this place is awesome! A little piece of Heaven right off the highway in the middle of nowhere, that makes you realize and appreciate the simple things in life. We hope and plan to come back in the future! Thanks so much!" This is the place to come if you need to totally

EXCELLENT PLACE FOR A RELAXING VACATION!! A+

This is an excellent place for a relaxing vacation. Very peaceful. The natural (non-man made) beach is awesome. The previous person the wrote a review went during spring break when kids are out of school. I would suggest going at a different time, if you prefer less kids. I give Harbor Island an A+! I will definately return!

Lots of kids running around everywhere - in the pool til late.
Property was only average - but then you get what you pay for. I'm used to much better from US properties.
