Custom Log Cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains on 16 acres with a creek and waterfall right out your door. Open the windows to let the fresh mountain air in and hear the creek and waterfall. At an elevation of 3100 feet you can always have a cool breeze.

Log Cabin is located on the road that takes you to Cataloochee to see the elks (about a 15 minutes drive). It is amazing view, with hiking and you can see deer and other wildlife. Watch for an elk in your yard too. Enjoy dinner on the 41 ft x 12 ft covered front deck with 3 ceiling fans. You can gaze at the stars from the front deck in the hot tub.

Cook an amazing meal in the fully stocked kitchen. You have a great view from wherever you are. Guaranteed you will not want to go home and you definitely will be back.

Things of Interest in the Area: Custom log cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains on 16 acres. You have the amazing view of the mountains and are only 15 minutes up the road to Cataloochee to see the elks. You are conveniently located. Areas of interest are Maggie Valley - 10 minutes away, Cherokee - 30 minutes away, Asheville - 30 minutes away, Waynesville - 15 minutes away, and 45 minutes - 1 hour to Gatlinburg, TN. There is rafting, hiking, horseback riding, tubing, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, restaurants, antique shops, and many other things to pass the day away. You are only 30 minutes from the Appalachian Trail to Max Patch Bald too.

Enjoying the Cabin: Please bring your book and enjoy the peacefulness of sitting by the creek and reading or just enjoying a bench under a tree to watch the trout and waterfall. Hike up the woods and enjoy the 16 acres. Spend your evenings on the front porch in the rocking chairs waiting for the wildlife to walk by or soak away the sore muscles in the inviting hot tub.

You can visit the Elks just 15 minutes up the road the home is located on in the Great Smoky National Park. Visit the great towns of Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Quaint and lots of things to do in the area. You have excellent hiking, rafting, tubing, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Biltmore House, and more very close by.
