This cottage is situated on 1 ½ acre lot, located on a quiet, wood lined street. Across the street from beautiful Lake Bellaire. It is minutes from Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain for golf and skiing. Approx. 30 minutes to Boyne Mountain for skiing, golf and Avalanche Bay Water Park, 25 minutes to Turtle Creek casino. Close to the quaint towns of Alden and Bellaire and approx. 45 minutes to Traverse City, Charlevoix area and Gaylord. Enjoy swimming at the sandy beach access, a Very short walk from the cottage. Put your boat in to fish or travel the “ Chain 0 Lakes” at one of the many public boat launches located within minutes of the cottage. The interior is pine walls and vaulted ceiling. A field stone fireplace completes that “up north” feel. There is an open floor plan with living area, dining/ kitchen and bathroom and laundry on the main floor. A log staircase in the foyer leads up to two separate loft-sleeping areas.

    Deposit of $200.00 upon reservation, fully refunded upon inspection of the property following rental.

    Cancellation policy, full refund if canceled within two weeks of reserved date, except for extreme situations that may arise preventing rental.
    $100.00 refund if less than two weeks notice.

    Full payment due two weeks prior to rental dates.

One side with a queen bed and two twin beds on the other. With a sofa sleeper in the living room and cots, you can easily accommodate 6-8 people. The kitchen is fully furnished with electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, mixer, electric skillet and toaster. (Sorry, no dishwasher) Dishes, pots and pans and all cooking utensils. There is a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. There is a radio/cd player and color TV with DVD/VCR combo player for you to relax with. With a two-car garage, you can store your boat, or Jet Ski in the summer or snowmobiles in the winter. Plenty of space for the fishing equipment, golf clubs, skis and other “toys”. There is a patio to relax on by day and a fire pit to enjoy at night. Contact us for more information and availability. Amenities: Field stone fireplace, firewood, electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, electric skillet and toaster.

You never know what you'll get when you rent a home from the internet...However, this home was top notch!!

We have rented million dollar homes on Lake Michigan and this home, in Bellaire, far exceeded any of those homes in comfort and cleanliness!!!

I would recommend this home to anybody. We enjoyed the Brewery in town (Shorts) as well as the nice and quiet neighborhood. Winter Rafting in East Jordan was beatiful!

We were able to have our dogs with us and walk them on the property. The use of the garage was a bonus! This home was VERY, VERY clean!

Great cottage

We stayed here during February 2009. The cottage is extremely quiet and clean. We stayed at the cottage with our three kids. They loved it.

It is very close to go skiing at Shanty Creek.

I would highly recommend this cottage to stay at to anyone.

What a cozy cabin! We picked a bad weekend weather-wise, so it was nice to be able to enjoy such a comfortable, well-equipped place to stay. I'd recommend it enthusiastically. Thanks!
