Immaculate, renovated log cabin with everything needed to make your vacation on beautiful Lake Gaston enjoyable. Enjoy a bright sun porch providing dining with a view of a quiet cove just off the main lake. A wide, sunny deck overlooks your own boat dock with plenty of room for several boats. A paddle boat is provided - go enjoy the cove! Your large, private gazebo provides added areas for outside socializing.

The full kitchen includes microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker and all amenities for meal preparation. Master bedroom has a lake view and includes a comfortable queen bed. Second has twin beds. Queen sleeper, couch and loveseat in living room too. Tons of room

The full living room with ceiling fans provides a new sleeper sofa as well as a couch and love seat arranged to enjoy satellite TV. A full laundry room is also available with outside entrance.

Absolutely Wonderful

We have stayed at many cabins in many locations over the years, but none have been more welcoming than this! The cabin was clean and spacious. We had had everything we needed to accommodate us and our three young children. I never once felt like the area was a risk for my children - the lake was a ways out from the cabin, providing an ample safe play area for the children to play, yet I could still go down to the waters edge with them and sit on the cozy little bench and watch them scamper around on the dock. The view from the sun porch on the cooler evenings and mornings was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed the gazebo on the warmer days! Quiet abounded and the children and I were able to do our homeschooling and I was able to rest and recuperate my health! Thank-you for your hospitality. I long to come back again!

Well, that was fun - and easy!

Thanks for letting us stay at your great cabin. We had never rented 'over the internet' before so were a little uneasy but you made it so easy, answered all of our questions and everything was just great. House was far beyond what we had expected so that was great too. We loved the gazebo and that new rooftop deck on the boat house with the comfy furniture and magnificent view was our family favorite spot. Great house, great experience and you folks were great to work with - thanks again. We can't wait to come back to this peaceful piece of paradise! The Moneteferros

Absolutely had a wonderful week!

My husband,son and I spent a very nice comfortable week here over the Memorial Day "week" in 2009.
This cabin has everything you could ask for and more. We were so pleased with all the cabin had to offer and had nothing to ask for.
We do plan to go back again, although,considering that Jeff has been sent into retirement from his job of 30 years of service at the same location and the engine "blew" in the boat this past Oct.
There is alot to do in the surrounding area during the day, and nothing else to ask for... i espescially like messing with the lizards!!
Only downside was the oldest son was not happy with the boat in the roof of the boatdock.. Oh,but it was still a wonderful week.. If you enjoy Chinese food, try the place in town early in the week, they have a big enough serving to last each one of you for 2 days and it is really good!..

A VERY WONDERFUL RELAXING CABIN TO GO TO!!!

We had a wonderful weekend!Your cabin in the woods is so comfortable. We completely relaxed every day.My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock..I loved the deck--did a lot of reading! I would tell anyone who wants a quiet relaxing time to rent your place. Thank you so much for sharing it!
