Comfy 2BR/1BA with Sleeping Loft

Living room, kitchen and dining area in one big room with windows looking right over the water. Sliding glass door opens onto nice deck with gas grill and chairs Steps go down into the water and. then you can swim out to a float!! One queen size bed and one full. Loft has room for 2 or 3. Linens provided.

Special for long term stay: If anyone stays for a month or more, there is a 15% discount!!

Rustic, comfortable camp. Perfect location!

This camp is the perfect place to leave everything behind and unwind. You are quite literally at the edge of the water so watching the loons, eagles, osprey and herons as they cycle through their day is only enhanced by the sound of the lapping water. Even in a downpour it was magical. In years past when my husband and I stayed on Toddy we would go into Blue Hill for dinner a couple of times in a week but at this lovely spot we just wanted to eat in and watch the day change to night. The beds are comfy, the kitchen well stocked. Though there are enough beds to sleep seven it would be very tight. I wouldn't suggest for more than 3 people, maybe 4

Wonderful Getaway on Toddy Pond

The home was stocked with all the necessities you would need. Beautiful view of the water and we enjoyed the fireworks over the 4th of July. Fishing was good but I wish we could have spent more time on the water. The sound of the loons is always the best! Convenient to Ellsworth, Bucksport and even Bar Harbor if want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the towns. The home is right on the water - we even did some fishing from the porch - we were that close.

If you fancy writing a book, get into zen or just want to get away from it all this is a good choice. Too bad there was a tv, a cd player with good music would have been better.
well equiped kitchen, the beds were ok but the atmosphere was wonderful. one day a misty lake almost spooky with the sounds of the loons. then the other day glorious with people water skieen.
woodstove excellent and the sound of the rain on the roof very romantic.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
