This place is very clean, adorable and quaint. The cable cars pass right along Washington which make it a very prime location to stay. We stayed for only 3 nights therefore some aspects we weren't able to fully enjoy. By the time we really settled in and was able to learn the city we had to leave. If I am able to come back, I would definitely look into staying here again (and this time getting a pass on the cable cars!). Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the place!
Clean and in a great location. You really can't beat this rental for the price and convenience. It is literally steps away from a cable car stop, and right down the street from the cable car museum and the entrance to Chinatown. There is a laundromat right around the corner, and a quaint little grocery down the street.
Other than us running out of towels during our 9 day honeymoon, I really have nothing but positives. I was worried about their being no A/C, because I am from FL where if you don't have A/C you die. You so don't need it, and the location of this apartment, up on the hill, really offer such nice breezes.
There is a cute little kitchen, and nice bathroom. What more could you want other than room service?
The best part, and I don't really know what the rules were with this. When we rented a car, we had a parking spot!
Don't get a hotel! This is so much better!
We stayed here for 6 1/2 weeks and it met our needs absolutely. Well equipped, comfortable and quiet. Very easy to reach most parts of the city by a variety of buses only one or two blocks away, and the Cable Car. Food shops, restaurants and laundry facilities all nearby. Although Sanjay was away for much of our stay he dealt with any small problems very quickly, and even arranged for a friend to call round to check we were OK. After we left we met up with him one evening in a bar for a very enjoyable drink. Thank you Sanjay for your hospitality
We have been in this little house for 18 nights, what a lovely place! First of all, the apartment is very clean, everything you need is in the apartment!. It's extremely comfortable, and behind the Sundeck there is a little garden which is so pleasant! Everything you need is close by, restaurants, supermarket, bus stop is one block away. Sanjay is a fantastic host , being helpful in every way! We would definitely be back in his place" if we're going to San Francisco" again!!!
Thank you so much Sanjay and hope to be back again!!! We had a lovely time!
AMAZING! We LOVED staying here! The owner of this quaint, little apartment was unbelievably friendly and accommodating and it was a pleasure working with him. He responded quickly to all of our questions and made our stay comfortable AND affordable. Furthermore, the apartment was VERY clean and it had everything we needed! It was also within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. We would stay here again in a HEARTBEAT!! (we recommend parking outside of the city and riding the BART system to the POWELL street station. Thankfully the owner told us about this before we showed up otherwise we would have paid $30 a night to park at a local garage!) Thanks for everything! We'll be back! :))))))
