Our beautiful Seagrove Beach vacation house is in the highly preferred Grove by the Sea neighborhood - close to the beach and Seaside, and next to a wonderful pool. You can simply park your car and forget it - your vacation needs are all within walking or biking distance.
The cottage is just a short walk to the beach crossover (200 yards), right next door to a large beautiful swimming pool, and 150 yards from a tennis court. The beaches, pool, and tennis court are un-crowded year round.
Just minutes away, by bike or a leisurely walk on the beach, is the architecturally famous beach community of Seaside. Grayton Beach State Park (2.5 miles), Grayton Beach (4 miles), Point Washington State Forest (1.5 miles), Camp Creek Golf Course (5 miles) and Santa Rosa Golf Club (9 miles) are only a short distance away.
Safe off road trails and sidewalks provide easy access to all these wonderful recreational areas from our house.
Included with your rental are a wonderful hammock and chair area under the trees between the pool and house, an outside gas grill (Weber), a hot/cold outside shower and your own private nature trail with Magnolia, pines, and 'wetlands'.
Our vacation rental house (called Muriel's Grove) has 3 BR and 3 BA, plus a studio area that can act as a fourth bedroom in a pinch. It is a wonderful amazing place that will exceed all your expectations.
The house is beautifully furnished and decorated in light' bright colors with a beach cottage theme. All rooms open to spacious wraparound porches and the tropical paradise outside. The first and second floor porches are equipped with furniture and ceiling fans, and provide a wonderful open air extension to the rooms inside. Plantation Shutters throughout the house provide ribbons of filtered light and a wonderful sense of southern charm.
The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, 36' TV, VCR and CD/DVD player, numerous VCR tapes, and many wonderful books and games for your enjoyment. Free WiFi is available.
There is a large dining table that seats 8 people, and additional seating for 3 at the breakfast bar.
The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your cooking needs. Just off the kitchen there is a laundry room with washer and dryer.
The first floor bedroom has two twin beds, and a full size bath in the hall.
The second floor has a master bedroom (king bed, TV and VCR) with full size bath, and a guest bedroom (queen bed) with an adjacent full size bath in the hall.
At the top of the stairs there is a studio/ sitting area that doubles as a spare bedroom (full-size futon) when needed. The studio room is equipped with a 29' TV, VCR, and a full complement of board games for your enjoyment.
