Destin's best located cottage community - 29 detached cottages with covered parking and fabulous western sunset Gulf views from the tower room. Only steps from the beach, the direct beach walkover located by the lavishly landscaped cul-de-sac complete with fountain and park benches.
This non-smoking, three-story cottage,has four bedrooms plus loft, two balconies, white picket fences, brick paver parking, and covered carport. The streets are well lit but private with sidewalks, guest parking, pool, and bathhouse. Very close to Silver Sands Outlet Shopping Mall and convenient to restaurants.
Words cannot express what a great time we have had this week. This cottage/house (which is decorated just perfect for a trip to the beach) has more than enough room and is equipped with everything you need. The location is so close to shopping and dining. A very short 2 minute walk to the beach. I so hate to leave tommorrow. We have been coming here for 15 years and this has been the best vacation yet! Thanks so much for letting us stay here. We will be back next year!
We had an awesome time! The home was stocked with everything we needed, was super clean,plenty of storage, outdoor shower.It was a short walk to the beach in a nice quiet family community,away from all of the hustle bustle of the hotel strips. But close enough drive to dining and entertainment. Also had a neighborhood pool which was always quiet and well maintained. We will definitely be back!
The house is located as described, on a quiet street with similar houses, many for rent, a short walk to the beach, which was excellent. The place was clean and well-stocked with basic needs. We do not feel it was well-maintained, with issues such as one A/C unit in bad order. The gas grill was in poor shape, the outdoor shower not working and some outdoor furniture falling apart. The owner may have addressed all these issues since our visit. A note for anyone bringing pets...a permit is required for a dog to be on the beach, and they are only issued to local residents...not out-of-town guests. Violators can be fined. We felt the owners should have known this. For restaurants, we can recommend the Crab Trap, which is a short drive...or a very long walk...down Old Hwy 98.
