Perfect in Piegaro

My husband and I spent six weeks at this restored farmhouse property in Piegaro recently. It looked just like the photos and was definitely large enough for the two of us with two modern bathrooms and a good kitchen. Both bedrooms were of a good size and we had lovely views from the windows. It wasn't far to the town of Piegaro, but due to the narrow road and traffic, it wasn't safe or convenient to walk to the town. We did require a car, but found the location provided a very good base to visit other local towns both in Umbria and Tuscany. While we were there it was very hot and it was a little disappointing to find that the pool was covered, as we could easily have used it during the hot weather. The town of Piegaro is on a hill, very old and very lovely with narrow streets and lots of atmosphere. The townspeople were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We would recommend this property to others without hesitation.
