Our cabin is a true 'Up North' classic. Tucked away on two wooded lots in the town of Fife Lake, this log home is paneled with tongue and groove pine planks. The field stone fireplace anchors an open living area situated to view the lake from two sides. The patio out front overlooking the lake, is an inviting place to relax in the evening or breakfast 'al fresco'. The cabin sits slightly above lake level with a few steps down to the dock. Traverse City is only a 25 minute scenic drive from Fife Lake. Your hosts are Northern Michigan natives, and very knowledgeable about most anything Up North.

The cabin has a full kitchen including a microwave, stove, and all of the dishes and cooking equipment you should need. We have a Weber gas grill on the patio to grill a steak or your fresh catch! Cable television with a VCR/DVD player is provided. We have a small library of VCR movies, or you can rent movies in town. We have an aluminum boat with oars available. Larger boats may be rented from the local sporting goods store. Smoking is permitted outside only. Just a few miles away the village of Fife Lake offers a sporting goods store, ice cream shop, pizza parlor, grocery store, and two bar/restaurants. Traverse City is only twenty miles away and offers a wide array of dining, shopping and entertainment options.
