Beautiful Pocono lakefront home on Big Bass Lake with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, full kitchen, laundry room with washer and dryer, a sun room/screened-in porch, living room, dining room, game room w/ pool table, loft with futon, gas fireplace, wireless internet, cable, 3 televisions and DVD players, stereo, ceiling fans, deck, gas grill, dock, private beach w/ firepit, 2 kayaks, canoe, and rowboat. From this property you can relax on the private beach, swim in the lake, go out in any of the four watercraft, or fish from the dock or boat. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and two on the second floor. The two first floor bedrooms and one second floor bedroom have queen size beds. The other second floor bedroom has a twin bed and a trundle bed (three beds total). There is a futon (double bed) in the loft on the second floor. Two bathrooms are on the first floor and the third bathroom is on the second floor. There is also a pack-n-play and a highchair.
We are part of the Big Bass Lake Community and are also located adjacent to their community beach. Big Bass Lake is a gated community, which has many year round amenities including a brand new clubhouse with snack bars and game rooms, 4 tennis courts, a basketball court, horseshoes, bocce ball, 2 beaches, tubing hill, indoor and outdoor pools(seasonal), as well as fishing on any of 3 lakes. The daily summer recreation program runs from from mid-June to Labor Day. If weather permits, the clubhouse, out-door heated pool, and beaches will open as early as Memorial Day weekend. The rest of the year, the recreation center, containing an indoor pool, is open on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Winter activities include the ski slope with a tow rope, and rental shop. These facilities are open every weekend that snow conditions permit. Other winter sports include ice skating (on the lake), cross country skiing, and sledding. The community beach is adjacent to this property (50 yds away). The clubhouse, tennis and basketball courts, and outdoor pools are 1 mile down a private road. Badges for use of Big Bass community facilities cost $8.00 per day or $40 per week, per persons age 6+.
We are within a half hour drive of the major Pocono ski areas of Camelback, Jack Frost, Big Boulder, and Sno Mountain. We are also close to Pocono Raceway, Tannersville Outlet and many other attractions of the Pocono Mountains. We adjoin the 7,000 acre Gouldsboro State Park and the 5,440 acre Tobyhanna State park where you can enjoy hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing.
