Ski/Board/Snowmobile Details:
The condo is only 5 minutes from both Boyne Highlands and Nub's Nob ski resorts. They rank amongst the best skiing/boarding in the Midwest. Boyne Mountain is only 30 minutes away and if you want a Canadian experience, Searchmont is less than 3 hours. Cross Country Ski and Snowmobile Trails are available on-site as well as at/near the ski resorts and numerous other places in the surrounding area. An on-site snowmobile storage area is offered free of charge during your stay at the condo.
Beaches, Lakes, and Downtown:
A few of the best beaches in the area are Petoskey State Park (3 miles), Harbor Springs Public Beach (4 miles), and gorgeous Sturgeon Bay (15 miles). If you want inland lake activities, Walloon, Crooked, Burt, Mullet and Charlevoix are all within 30 minutes. They offer marinas with boat/jet ski rentals and we offer an on-site boat storage area free of charge during your stay at the condo. It's hard to beat the charm and sophistication of downtown Harbor Springs (4 miles) with its art galleries, unique stores, ice cream, fudge, lake view dining, and boat races. Downtown Petoskey is more expansive and offers its own unique small town experience with great shopping, dining, art fairs, baseball games on the bay, and much more. Bay Harbor, Charlevoix, and Boyne City also offer wonderful downtown activities and are all within 30 minutes. If you're looking for a memorable day trip, catch a ferry to Mackinac Island or cross the bridge to the U.P. (both 30 miles).
